When the sun sets and the skies light up, I grab my camera and out the door I go. My husband laughs at me. I tell him, when it's this beautiful out, I have to see it and enjoy it . :)
The purples , the pinks, and grays over the cornfield.
It looks brighter and brighter, for a few minutes more.
This is taken thru the pine limbs hanging down.
These sunsets don't last long, some times, so you have to get your camera and get out there and start snapping shots. I love to take pictures of the sun when it is rising or setting. So many beautiful colors.
Hope all of you are enjoying your wonderful fall season. I am doing the best I can to soak it up. I need to take a trip to the park and get some new views. I also have been thinking of going to Hobby-Lobby. Wishing all a great day. XO
Gorgeous sunset! xoox Su
ReplyDeleteI will be back to finish my visit to your blog today...as I got called away. Thank you for stopping y. I do love sunsets. Blessings, xoxo,Susie
DeleteI love autumn when we can get those Lovely sunsets. They aren't the same in summer, at least that's my opinion, lol. Lovely Pictures you had today.
ReplyDeleteHere autumn work is almost over and I just wait for Christmas. As we don't celebrate Halloween!!
Love Elzie
Elzie, I wondered where you were loacated...as I could not understand the language on your blog. LOL. I am not abig Halloween fan myself..well I was as a child..cause it was all about the candy back then. :):) Blessings, xoxo,Susie
DeleteOf course I had to forget about one thing. I'm so glad you explained to me about the tree. Those aren't here in this country and it was interesting to read about it. Sorry the storm destroyd it though. /Elzie
ReplyDeleteElsie, Our tree is looking sadder everyday. The leaves are falling off the remaining limbs and we can now see the true damage to the whole of this tree,. It's never going to recover. Bless you, xoxo,Susie
DeleteThat is so beautiful! You know I love to take pictures of sunsets. I can't even express how much I love these pictures.
ReplyDeleteKathy, I know you love sunsets too. So does Boston Boy... I always know there's some one to enjoy these shots. I like seeing all of yours too. Sun setting across water is really great. Blessings, xoxo,Susie
DeleteHi Susie, The sunsets are absolutely beautiful. Fall is the time of the year that I love best when all of the trees are beginning to turn color. Some are already turned in our area. Crops are being harvest right and left and you have to watch out for the farm machinery/ Take care. Hugs and Prayers from your Missouri Friend Shirley
ReplyDeleteShirley, You are so right about that farm equipment.. It can be dangerous. My neighbor has been bringing in his corn today. I thought he was done...but not just yet. I love seeing the corn harvested ...everything is so golden. Hugs to you and to your husband...I wish you could have him back home again. Blessings, xoxo,Susie
DeleteAbsolutely beautiful photos!! Thanks so much for your visits and for your kind words!!
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Deb
Debbie, I like coming by and seeing what all you have decorated. Love seeing your porch. Blessings, xoxo,Susie
DeleteWhat gorgeous pictures! I wonder if your leaves are turning colors that beautiful? Here in the northeast we aren't getting much color at all!
ReplyDeleteAnnMarie, I always thought the northeast had the absolute best foliage. It may be happening soon as we are in for some frost Thursday evening. Blessings, xoxo,Susie
DeleteGorgeous colors! I don't think I have ever seen such a sunrise. Yes, I am usually up at that time...
ReplyDeleteVee, These are actually a sunset photos.. I like to get up early...but the woods down the road block most of my sun rises. Hope you are doing well...enjoy your lovely fall days.. Blessings, xoxo,Susie
DeleteHI Susie, thanks for your sweet visit. Love the photos. Beautiful sunsets take my breath away. P.S. Make your blog post area wider.....smile
ReplyDeleteLinda, Thank you for stopping by. I need to rework my entire blog...but the sites are so sensitive , I am afraid I would lose some things...I will have my daughter help me soon. Blessings, xoxo,Susie

DeleteThe sun rises and sunsets change very quickly..Beautiful pictures Susie..Always prettier in the fall..
ReplyDeleteMissy, I think you are right about the autumn sunsets. I just wish I could get better sunrises...the woods blocks my morning views. Blessings, xoxo,Susie
DeleteI totally agree. Look at the fabulous photos you got because you grabbed the opportunity before it passed you by. Spectacular photos!!!
ReplyDeleteJudy, I have found that if you hesitate...you will lose some great shots. LOL Plus I like to just look at the skies when they are that pretty and take it all in. Blessings, xoxo,Susie
DeleteSusie- Those are beautiful skies. We have them too, this time of year. I got a couple of really good ones this past week or so.
ReplyDeleteHope you had a great day- xo Diana
Diana, I bet your sunset shots are beautiful on the water. You should be getting some great colors up there on the bay. Blessings, xoxo,Susie
DeleteSusie, we almost never get sunsets as beautiful as yours, they are true gifts from heaven and I completely understand why you grab the camera and go to enjoy every moment of them.
ReplyDeleteDewena, I just love being outside when the skies are that pretty . The sun is setting quicker each day now...you know what that means..I am not even going to say it,shhh. Blessings, xoxo,Susie
DeleteGorgeous Susie. Those sunsets remind me of the old sailor saying. "Red sky at night sailor's delight, red sky in morning sailor's take warning."
ReplyDeleteJust beautiful.
Kris
Kris, We are going to be chilly these next few days. The sunsets have been awesome here lately. Probably due to crop dust in the air from harvesting. I remember that old sailor adage. Wonder is any ever heeded it. LOL Blessings, xoxo,Susie
DeleteOh Susie your photos are gorgeous! I too love seeing these God given beautiful sites! Today is my hubbues birthday so hope to blog a bit about it tonight! Time to go back to sleep ! smile...
ReplyDeleteBlessings
Gert
Gert, I am praying for some wonderful news. I have been thinking of you and Tom so much. Hug him Happy Birthday for me. Bless your hearts, xoxo,Susie
DeleteBeautiful skies! Soon I'll be painting a sky because I'll be "illustrating" a poem line for line. I can't decide exactly which type of sky…whether white fluffy clouds or a sunrise/sunset.
ReplyDeleteHi Ricki, I hope you do a post on your painting and the poem . It would make a nice one. I love seeing how artistic others are. Blessings, xoxo,Susie
DeleteSusie, that is so beautiful and I do the same thing. Sometimes I jump out of my chair, head outside, take the pic and come inside. Then the sunset gets even more gorgeous and I have to go back outside again. Lol! It changes too many times and keeps me hopping! I love a beautiful sunset. Thank you, friend, for loving them, too.
ReplyDeleteNonnie, I am so glad others like to take sunset photos too. My daughter once saw one of my sunsets on a news program and said the lady said whos' it was. :) Blessings, xoxo,Susie
DeleteSusie, I can see why you grabbed your camera to take pictures of this sunset. It is gorgeous with the pinks and purples in the sky. I tell you, girl, you capture some of the prettiest sunsets in blog land. : )
ReplyDeleteOh, that picture on my post today is Jess last year at a Halloween party. I only wish I looked that good hahaha.
love, ~Sheri
Sheri, It could be crop dust in the air making the pretty colors at sunset. :):) I thought that was Jess...but you and your daughters are young and pretty. Blessings, love, Susie
DeleteThese re absolutely gorgeous pictures, Susie! I've never caught anything like this so be proud!! This time if year has the most beautiful skies!
ReplyDeleteJane x
Thank you Blondie. I enjoy taking photos when I can. This is a pretty time of year...I am hoping it last a long time...but some of the weather forecasts look a bit scary. We better lap this up. Blessings, xoxo,Susie
DeleteWow! Those photos are spectacular! It's just this past week that the trees have begun to change colors. I hope to get some shots before it's too late.
ReplyDeleteBoston Boy, I am counting on you getting some great fall shots for all of us to enjoy, while on your trip. Polish up your camera. LOL. Bless you, xoxo,Susie

vivian
Vivian, I do not take cell phone pictures...so I have to justify have this camera my husband bought me two Christmases ago. LOL. I do think blogging and face book has made people more aware of taking pictures. But I will never understand the selfie thing...cracks me up. Blessings, xoxo,Susie
DeleteI love your vivid photos!!! I visited here earlier but I guess my comment didn't post. Sometimes that happens when I'm on my iPad!
ReplyDeleteLinda, I just got an Ipad when Ted got his new phone...so we now have WIFI...sounds so blasted space age..I need my daughter to help me get it all going now. Hope it will be worth the extra money for this free Ipad...you know how that stuff goes...is anything really free??? Blessings, love you, Susie
