Here's the Frost moon rising . My poor zoom lens never does it credit. :):)
After going into town for a bargain fill up of our gas tank. We came by the Academy for another picture.
The sunset was pretty nice also. Lots of pink color.
Took this from the porch. That is a nice thing about living out here, we do get to see some pretty sunsets.
I now have the snow shovel on the porch. I do not want to have another big snow and not have this shovel near. Ted had it put in the shed and I had to use an old 10 inch wide shovel he had in the garage..that was about useless when you need to move snow. Although we are to have a wonderful Thanksgiving day here. Then it's suppose to rain on Black Friday. That should take care of any snow left on the ground.
I want to wish all of you a Thanksgiving day filled with the love of your family and friends. XO
It sure looks beautiful....and brrrr cold! Wishing you and your sweet family a very Happy Thanksgiving! I know you'll have lots of wonderful things to eat. What time should I come? heehee! Warm hugs, Diane
ReplyDeleteThank you Diane, Wish you could come to dinner. :):) It would be so fun. I will think of you as I have some pie , maybe. LOL. Blessings, xoxo,Susie
DeleteWonderful photos, but I prefer life without a snow shovel.
ReplyDeleteOh me too girl, me too. If I never had to shovel snow again I'd be happy. Blessings to you and your loved ones for a happy thanksgiving day. xoxo,Susie
DeleteBeautiful skies where you are, Susie. I love that rusty pink color. It reminds me of some of the sunrises we used to see in the Colorado mountains. Haven't quite experienced that in NE Oregon yet. Maybe I've been too busy with the cottage and haven't taken the time to look. LOL Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family. God bless. ~ Nancy
ReplyDeleteIf you live near the ocean, you will have some awesome sunsets. Wishing you and yours a blessed thanksgiving day. xoxo, Susie
DeleteHi Susie. We live on the east side of the state, so no ocean sunsets for us. I lived in Arizona for 10 months where there are some seriously gorgeous sunsets!
DeleteYour shots are so pretty but cold looking. The sunsets are beautiful! Hope you have a wonderful day tomorrow. Can you believe it's Thanksgiving already?
ReplyDeleteIt's been in the 40's and to be 59 tomorrow. So nice for thanksgiving...you are right it's hard to believe. Blessings to you Kathy, xoxo,Susie
DeleteGood grief, Susie! Lovely photos! Looks like great minds think alike, as they say. I couldn't resist the sunrise and moonrise either! Have a wonderful Thanksgiving Day.
ReplyDeleteJudy, I wish I had your camera. Your moon photos was just awesome. I can never get a good shot like that. But I can at least get good color at sunset. Bless you, xoxo,Susie
DeleteWe're looking forward to clear skies here tonight so we will be able to see that full moon in all its glory! Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family. xo Nellie
ReplyDeleteI am hoping to see the moon come up again this evening. Just wish I had that zoom lens., LOL. Hope you have clear skies too. Blessings Nellie for a wonderful thanksgiving day. xoxo,Susie
DeleteYes, a beautiful moonrise and sunset. Aren't we so blessed to witness such beauty.
ReplyDeleteEven though I wear glasses now...yes, I feel so very blessed to see the beauty that is God's gift to each of us. Blessings to you and your loved ones for a wonderful thanksgiving day. xoxo,Susie
DeleteSusie, you really do have the prettiest sunsets in your area, and to look at them from your front porch is magical. Keep showing your snow pictures. They make my day.
ReplyDeleteHave a nice Thanksgiving with your daughters, Susie.
love, ~Sheri
Thank you Sheri. I love the setting sun, the rising sun , the moon and stars. All the good things that God has given us. I like to sit on the porch even when it's cold...as long as the wind isn't too strong. m I am so ready for tomorrow ...to get hugs and be with my loved ones. Blessings, love you, Susie
DeleteHi Susie..

Hi Munir, Thank you. I am wishing you and yours a happy thanksgiving day. I hope you have good weather too. We are being blessed with about 60 degrees....of course it will be raining on Friday...Guess what...our big snow from Saturday is gone..I am thrilled about that. It melted the last three days. Blessings, xoxo,Susie
DeleteLOL I don't think my kids have ever seen a snow shovel! ;P
ReplyDeleteLOVE the photos of the sunset!
Ricki, Where do you live. LOL. That is funny. I hope they never have to shovel snow. Thanks for visiting. Wishing you and yours a blessed thanksgiving day. xoxo,Susie

MIldred, I feel blessed to have you as a blog friend too. I enjoy your blog very much. Always nice to know what is going on in other states. I wish you a great day tomorrow. Love you, Susie
DeleteHappy Thanksgiving Susie..Beautiful sunsets...This time of year has the best..Have a beautiful day..
ReplyDeleteHappy Thanksgiving to you. I noticed that full moon, didn't realize it was called a frost moon. Love your sunset pics. -Jenn
ReplyDeleteI know that you probably don't love the snow as much as I would....because we don't ever get snow here. It is only on postcards and blogs that I get to "see" it....so, I love each photo that has snow in it.
ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful photographs you take....
I love the colors in the sky.
Wishing you a beautiful weekend....and thanking God for all his blessings....near and far.
Love,
Jackie
Jackie, I have kids that love the snow. Especially my grandson in Utah. I think I never like it so much...cause I had to drive to work in it and when I was little , I never had boots or gloves. Maybe you can go on a ski outing some time...you don't have to ski...you can just walk in the snow or sit around a nice big fire. Do things while you are young. Blessings, xoxo,Susie
DeleteIt was the same here, Susie..really nice day on T'giving and rain and winter mix the day after..it's still falling a little bit today. I just LOVE these kind of days..going to get my small kitchen tree out and decorated today. Hoping to get the bigger one put up tomorrow.
ReplyDeletexoxo
Nice shovel! It does a good job. So did it rain?
ReplyDeleteMy snow shovel is on the porch, too. A sunny lovely day today but I'm not taking any chances!
ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful skies you have there! Makes me smile!
I get to enjoy seeing beautiful skies like this out my back door in the mornings. I tried to capture some of it this morning but only used my iPhone and it just couldn't capture the depth of color. Shovels- ha... we have a variety to choose from. Up here we really get it. We use a plastic only shovel- no metal edge on the deck because the metal can gouge the wood. So far what snow we got has melted and it's still clear here which is nice. We'll get it soon enough though- it always happens!
