This is the month of April's Country Living magazine. My friend Donna Jenkins is featured in one of the articles. Donna inspired me to start blogging.
This lady is just as beautiful inside as she outside. So kind too. Wonderfully gifted seamstress, crafter and gardener. She has helped her husband build this beautiful she-shed. So she's a handy carpenter too.
Before I even met Donna, I watched as this incredible glass shed was being build, as I would drive by Donna house . It was so adorable. She calls this "Tinker House". The sweet little design along the roof is all the old door hardware, from the house she and her husband have been remodeling. Their house has been in her family for 5 generations.
Here's a sampling of the cuteness inside. Great work benches and potting areas. Plenty of light as Tinker House is all glass. Made of salvaged windows and glass doors.
Now this is a beautiful view of the house and gardens. I hope all of you will go buy one of these Country Living magazines. You can learn more about Donna and her favorite place. There are more she-sheds in this article....but since I know Donna, I wanted to show hers. Donna's article was written by Jennifer Kopf.
Wishing all a fun day today. XO
wow, I will look for that when my issue comes!!
ReplyDeleteLaurie, I hope you enjoy the article. I just love looking at Donna's gardens any time I drive by her house. I think she'll have a booth at Horton's Spring Open House this coming 12th. She's so talented. Blessings to you, xoxo, Susie
