This pictures is a couple years old....but this is the two daughters I was with yesterday. Just as it looks in this photo...we laughed a lot. I rode to Kokomo with Kathy(blue top) , so we could have a chance to talk a bit and Angie followed us in her car. The reason we did that was Kathy would be headed home and it saved her 40 miles.
We shopped Kohl's ,T.J.Maxx, and a couple shoe stores. Then had lunch at McAllisters. I knew Kathy had a two hour drive back home, but I still hated to say bye.
When Kathy got home she texted me that she had arrived safely and there was not much traffic, so she made good time. Then she texted that she had my camera in her car. I had forgotten it. I had even forgotten I took it....because I was going to get some pictures of us out together. I almost felt sick. I love having my camera at hand. So next week Ted and I will be going to Shipshewana..as Kathy lives near there. I will get my camera first then I can take photos in the Amish area.
We had a fun time , that went by way to quickly. I had a wonderful Easter with my family. Hope all of you did as well. Today, I will meet a new doctor. Hoping to find a family doctor. Ted has meet him and liked him very well.
Wishing everyone a good day, smile. XO
you always have the best time with your girls,, beautiful photo!!
ReplyDeleteLaurie, I was probably close to wetting my pants in this picture. :) I never knew when my girls were small they would grow up to be my best friends. Blessings, xoxo, Susie
DeleteSooo happy you enjoyed your Easter Day Susie! What a fun little shopping and lunch excursion you had! I love McAllisters!!! Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteWe are not all day shoppers...thank goodness...my feet would never hold up for that. We shop to refresh our seasonal attire..all though Kathy called me down for buying greys and blacks. LOL. Blessings, xoxo, Susie
Deletep.s. thank you for coming by .
Hope that you don't miss too many photo ops and that the week will zip on by... they always do. I think it is so much fun when mothers and daughters shop and go out for lunch and things. My daughter and I do that a few times a year, but not as often as my sister and I and our mom did. I miss those times. May your new doctor be an answer to prayer. I'd so like to find a good doc myself. I'm stuck with a nurse practitioner who knows precious little.
ReplyDeleteVee, I am so thankful that I had lots of great time shopping and lunching with my mom.I miss her. Any time I can be with my daughters is fun time. It means so much to have them as my friends as well as my girls. Blessings, xoxo,Susie
DeleteI can't do the all day shopper thing anymore either. Looks like a great time.
ReplyDeleteHi Valerie, So glad you stopped by. My girls all have a great sense of humor...we laugh at ourselves so it's all good clean fun. When we shop it's fun to help each other or get another opinion. Blessings, xoxo,Susie
DeleteI love this picture. You look like you are truly enjoying each others company. Glad it was a good visit and I know what you mean about having your camera around.
ReplyDeletePatty, I have to get that camera as soon as possible. LOL. The girls and I have always loved our times together. When we go to eat...we usually have to taste the others foods. LOL. Blessings, xoxo,Susie
DeleteI always hate to see my children go home, too. I wish they lived right in my back yard. That's not too much to ask, is it?
ReplyDeleteLaurie, If our children can live in our backyards, they should at least live in the same town. LOL. It broke my heart when the twins moved 30 or more miles away and Kathy moved two hour drive away. My oldest lives in town and I live 5 miles away. She and I do lots of things together. Blessings, xoxo,Susie
DeleteHi Susie, I would hate forgetting my camera or my phone as well. Sounds like a wonderful time and you are going to Amish country-I'm a bit jealous! Hope you have a great week.
ReplyDeleteHugs, Noreen
Noreen, I already could have used that camera today. I love getting photos in Amish country...but I know the people do not like face shots. Blessings, xoxo,Susie
DeleteI would be lost without my camera. It's like an extension of me. So glad you had a good shopping day with your girls. My mom was my best friend too. I loved spending time with her. I'm looking forward to seeing your pictures of Amish country.
ReplyDeleteKathy, I use my camera more than I realize. If I had remembered to get photos of our food , I would have not forgotten it. Kathy, I love my mom and spent lots of time with her and I miss her so much. My girls are a joy to have time with too. Blessings, xoxo, Susie
DeleteYou are making me want to have a camera again. You take such wonderful photos. I am glad you had such a good time with your daughters. But I will look forward to seeing pics next week of Amish country.
ReplyDeleteNonnie, I can't take photos with my little phone so I need my big old camera. I hope I get it back soon and get some good photos in Shipshewana. Blessings , xoxo,Susie
DeleteSo glad you got to spend time with your girls and family for Easter! Many blessings to you, Cindy xo
ReplyDeleteHi Cindy, You know being with our children for Special day is a blessings . Then being with them for everyday things is so fun. Bless you and yours, xoxo,Susie
DeleteOh Susie, what beautiful girls you have! And what a fun time!!!! Sorry you are without your camera, I almost feel naked, and that is always when I see the best shots! I know how hard it is now for me, since I'm doing the driving- I see things that I would have photographed, but can't due to the fact I'm driving!!! Ha! Ha! No multitasking while driving -lol
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Gert
Gert, In my little town...if I am driving on the road by myself I may take a picture..but it won't be focused well because I do try to stay in my lane. LOL. My daughters and I were laughing so hard in that photo..I was probably ready to wet my pants..we have to take lots of restroom breaks. see speaking of driving, I do not want to drive 2 hours to my daughters without Ted along.:) Blessings, xoxo, Susie
DeleteNow Susie, next time you girls shop at those places you need to pop over and say Hi. I'm about ten minutes from that shopping mall!
ReplyDeleteCindy Bee
Cindy, I wish you could have joined us shopping. That would be fun. I thought you live at the farthest end of Kokomo for some reason..I keep thinking I would see you out and about. Blessings, xoxo,Susie
DeleteI do live at the farthest end of Kokomo but I don't live far from the new highway. You can get from one end to the other in 15 minutes with the highway.
DeleteSusie, it's so nice that you got together with your daughters for the day. I always pray that my girls get home safely in this heavy traffic, and I appreciate it when they come to see me.
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to see pics of the Amish area. There is an Amish movie that I've seen, and every time I watch it, it brings tears to my eyes. It's a beautiful story about forgiveness.
This is a cute picture of you and your girls, Susie. :)
love, ~Sheri
Sheri, I am still hoping to get my camera this weekend. I will post about the Amish if I can get some great photos. I do not think you are suppose to take face shots of them...they are against it. Blessings for agreat weekend, xoxo, love, Susie
DeleteGlad you had a nice time with your daughters. I am looking forward to your pictures of Amish country.
ReplyDeleteBoston Boy, One of these day, I'll probably wee my pants with those girls making me laugh so hard. We have laughed till we've cried many times. Blessings for agreat weekend. xoxo,Susie
DeleteWe can never get too much Mother/Daughter time!!!
ReplyDeleteLinda, I wish I could a day a month with each daughter...or even all of them together. I know you love being with your children too. Blessings, love, xoxo,Susie
