Happy Birthday Twinnies.....

I have to wish my twins a happy birthday. Can you believe I forgot to get their cards in the mail on time? I thought about it all last week...but as time got nearer,I forgot.   Karen is the blonde and Liz is the brunette. When they were born, it was a handful for me.  I had a five year old and a two and half year old . Angie was 5 and Kathy was 2 1/2. they were my little helpers.  Angie would sit next to me and hold one of the babies while we feed them bottles. and Kathy would go get the diapers. That might be why we are close.:):)
The twins are good girls and hard working moms. They live near each other. They still are very close.
I won't tell you how old they are , but they are catching up with me. LOL. Liz is two minutes older than Karen...but now  Liz is saying she's the younger one. LOL
Are there any twins in your families?  Wishing all a great day. XO

    1. I feel blessed to have all my girls. The first two weeks after the twins were born, my mother in law would come over during the day and let me rest. It probably saved my life. LOL. I could not imagine having more than two at once. Blessings, xoxo,Susie

  4. We had a couple sets of twins in the 1700s and 1800s but none lately. My husband, Joe, is a twin though and he's the father of twins. Does that count? He and his brother were very close, but his brother died of cancer 23 years ago. Twins always seem to have a special bond.

  7. How awesome! With my daughter doing IVF again, she may do more than one embryeo. I'm sure it was challenging at times with 4 under 4 but what a blessing.

  8. Your twins are cuties! How wonderful that they are still close. Sounds like a team effort when they were small...good times like that are remembered fondly. Yes, my husband has twin granddaughters, one of whom is serving on a ship in the Persian Gulf.

  11. Happy Birthday to the Twins. I bet they grew up to be gorgeous girls. Also congratulations on going through and completing the task of being a young mom of four kids not too far apart in age.
We do not have any twins on either my husband's or my side of the family. It must be fun.

  12. My goodness...I never knew you had twins. I can see how they look alike in their eyes.

I know you had a handful...all of my kids are three years apart--all four of them. I feel like I got one out of diapers and then I had another one!! Still, they are priceless!

    1. Blondie, I knew I wasn't going anywhere for twenty years after the twins were born. LOL. MY oldest two actually were good helpers...I know that sounds funny but it was so true. Plus if one woke up at night, to eat or be changed, I just went ahead and woke the other one up....cause you know as soon as I would have tried to go back to sleep that would not have worked. LOL. My daughters are now my best friends. I am blessed. Hope you are doing well. I think we may not get the next snow...yippee. Blessings to you, xoxo,Susie

  17. I missed visiting yesterday as I had my grandquads!! My mother had twins in 1958. Sadly, the little boy baby died and the girl baby was given away so we didn't grow up together. I wanted desperately to have twins when I had Amber and Benjamin. God in his infinite wisdom knew better. Now I realize what an amazing but challenging life with multiples can be. I think this must have been very hard for you but I imagine you rolled with it. Still.....
Glad to hear they are still very close to each other and to you as well!
