One Month & Ten Days.....

Look who came to see me on my birthday.  Little Max, hmmm, he is looking bigger.
His grandmother, my daughter , holding him while he makes funny faces.  He has grown and changed since Christmas day.  This is what I mean about children growing so very fast.
He is so precious. I held him for about 20 minutes while he had a nap. I think his mommy and grandmother both wanted  a nap also.  Lynzie from getting up in the night with Max and grandma Liz from working the day before.
Liz and Lynzie brought us lunch and ice cream and cookies to help me celebrate. . They caught me trying to shovel the drive, but it was still frozen.  LOL   Today it's all melted and I am joining all my sisters for bingo. The temperatures were 40-50 yesterday. We are having crazy weather. There's a cold front with arctic temperatures headed our way. Maybe snow again on Sunday. But today is spring like.  :):)
I want to wish all of you a great weekend. Enjoy this day. XO

    1. Japolina, Just when I think I am too young, I think back to Loretta Lynn, I think she was a grandma at 34 . Wow. But then I was 35 when my daughter Angie graduated high school. I thought that was pretty young. LOL. I love holding Max, he still has that new baby smell. :) Layla is 11 months old now, she's Max's cousin. Blessings to you and thanks for the nice words. xoxo,Susie

  8. Max looks so alert and aware to be so very young. Aren't they precious to hold at that age? Well, at every age but there's such a special new baby time that passes all to quickly.

    1. Thank you Nonnie. It was a special time to hold Max...as he is growing so fast . He seems older than one and a half months now. I enjoyed my day so much. Lots of calls, texts, and cards. Not counting good wishes from my blog family and friends on face book too. I am truly blessed. I have only shoveled very little this year. I usually shovel the drive by the house. I do it in shifts ...so I am safe. Bless you, xoxo,Susie

  13. Max is such a cutie, Susie. It must have felt good to hold him for 20 minutes in your arms. I can just see you shoveling all the snow in your driveway. I think I would play in it first hehehe.

    1. Sheri, I could hold him everyday like that and it would not be enough. I have yet to shovel snow this year....it's been frozen, because it has been mixed with rain. LOL. The rain melted it again. Thank goodness. Blessings, love you, Susie
