This is an angel who sits on the edge of the flower pot that I bought for my mother and keep here ,now, in her memory. I have red geraniums and petunias in this pot .
The lilies are so tall and bloomed out now. The tiger lilies are yet to bloom.
I can't recall this lily's name. It's bloomed now and more buds to open.soon.
This was so pretty till the rabbit slept in the center of it. ....It is all mashed down now. I don't remember the name of this plant at all. I used to have two white ones like it in the back garden but they did not survived.
The coral bells have bloomed. The foliage is so pretty and the actual flower so tiny.
This is not much of a shot ....but this is one of the mums starting to bloom. Is this too soon?? I am not sure. I have split some of my mums for Angie and Karen. Hope they take hold.
I have to tell all of you....I am holding my breath, or so it seems...that I can barely breathe. My daughter Karen decided to get a heart scan that's been offered in Indiana for 49 dollars. She knows there's heart issues in our family...my uncles(on mom's side) all had heart attacks that killed them. My mother had a quadruple bypass.. So Karen was going to be cautious. When they did the heart scan they saw a node in one lung......so she is getting a biopsy on the 11th of July. I want to ask if all of you would hold her in your prayers and good thoughts. Please. I will let you know how she does. Thank you so much. Bless you.. XO
Worries.....
ReplyDeleteTime to try to concentrate on the flower loveliness....
Gentle hugs,
Tessa
Thank you Tessa...I know to try to not worry...but being a mommy you know how those kids hold our hearts. I still call all my daughters my babies.LOL. I had them when I was so young. I never realized that once I had children my life would never be my own again. They grew from small daughters into being my best friends. Blessing to you, xoxo, Susie
DeleteWaiting to know is always the hardest, kind thoughts for you and your family.
ReplyDeleteThank you Janet. I do try to stay busy...to keep from thinking. Blessings, xoxo, Susie
DeleteI know I've told you this before, but your garden is just lovely. You have plants I have never seen before. I will certainly be keeping Karen in my prayers and will pass it along to my prayer group also. God has her in His hands and she will be fine. But it is worrisome.
ReplyDeleteKathy, That means so much to me that you ask for prayers for my Karen from your church....the more the better is how I see it. I trust God. Karen's one of my twins babies...so I can help but fret. My daughter's are Angie, Kathy, and the twins, Karen and Lizzy. Blessings to you, xoxo, Susie
DeleteI will keep her in my prayers my friend. I know how we worry and pray for our 'kids'! Sweet hugs, Diane
ReplyDeleteDiane, I don't think we can stop being mommies...ever...so we do tend to worry. Thank you so much for your prayers. Bless you, xoxo, Susie
DeleteKaren's situation is indeed worrisome. I assume since they're actually doing a biopsy they've determined this node bears a further look. Twice I've had scans that showed things that caused me to have to have a second look and both have been harmless.
ReplyDeleteOnce I was sent to a cardiologist because a scan for something else showed I had an aneurysm in my heart but the cardiologist said 'not so.'
Another time I was sent for another scan because the radiologist said there was a node on the lung. Again it was a 'not so' situation.
Hoping for good news about Karen.
Linda, Thank you for this info...that helps me somewhat. I just tend to almost stress when it comes to my daughters and their families. Karen's heart scan was great. She a strong girl and in good health...so I am praying this node is harmless.Thank you again. Blessings, xoxo, Susie
DeleteSaying a prayer for Karen. Oh Susie as a mom I know you must be so worried. I am hoping and sending good healthy results to all of you.
ReplyDeleteKeep us posted. Hugs,
Kris
Thank you Kris. It means so much to have my blog family by my side. All prayers are so welcome and appreciated. I will post what all goes on with Karen. Blessings to all there, xoxo, Susie
DeleteI will be keeping your daughter in my thoughts and prayers, Susie. Biopsies are not fun, I just had one....thank God, benign. I hope it will be the same result for Karen. xo
ReplyDeleteI am so thankful you had good results. thank you for your prayers for Karen too. I truly appreciate them. Blessings, xoxo, Susie
DeleteYour flowers are beautiful and a reminder that God is near. Prayers for your daughter are going up and I am sure that God will protect her. Glad she is being cautious though.
ReplyDeleteCarol, thank you so much for your kind prayers. I do love all my flowers...but I think my four daughters are by far my favorite flowers. You know how our children have hold of our hearts. Blessings, xoxo, Susie
DeleteOh, Susie, my thoughts and prayers are with your daughter and all your family. Thank heavens she had the scan. Sometimes it's the little things that help us along the way when we least expect it...xxo Judy
ReplyDeleteJudy, I am so thankful that Karen got the heart scan. It a perfect scan too. I am thankful for the radiologist sharp eyes finding the node. Karen is in good health and she's a strong person, this should be okay. Strange how things work. Blessings, hope all is well at your house, xoxo, Susie
DeletePraying with you for your daughter Karen. I enjoyed your photos. Your yard is looking bright and cheery for summer!
ReplyDeleteThank you for your prayers Karen. It means so much to me. I will post what all happens...she's in very good spirits. I think our flowers are taking their turn to bloom and fade....so hopefully I have something blooming all summer. Blessings, xoxo, Susie
DeleteI'm so sorry to hear this about Karen, Susie. I will say a prayer for sure.
ReplyDeleteI love that little angel, and the red geraniums really show up against the white. She's sweet, and it's special that she reminds you of your mom. That really is a great picture. I would frame that and put it in your house.
love, ~Sheri
Sheri, I think Karen was smart to get the heart scan and with this unexpected find of the node...I am thinking blessed. Thank you for the prayers, we need then and truly appreciate each kind thought and prayer. I did like that picture of the angel. :):) Blessings, love you, xoxo, Susie
DeleteSusie, Praying now that the biopsy will show that it is benign. Love your flowers. Sending you big hugs.
ReplyDeleteNoreen
Thank you Noreen. I do appreciate your prayers. I know my girl is strong and healthy..so that is in her favor . You know with our super hot then normal, dry then rainy weather...I feel I must stay on top of these flowers. LOL. Blessings, xoxo, Susie
DeletePrayed for all of you, Susie. How scary for you and your family, again. Keep working in your gardens to keep your mind focused on something other than your trials, dear friend. Much love to you.
ReplyDeleteDebbie
xo
Thank you Debbie for your prayers. I certainly appreciate them. I have been trying to stay busy. Karen, her daughter Savannah and Kathy , are taking a mini vacation this weekend. They are going to Bloomington, where Kathy went to I.U. and then on to the town the girls and I used to go to when we went to the state park for fall trips. We have good memories of that area. It will do the girls good. We will have a big reunion on the 4th ..that will help also. Karen and Liz are my twin daughters. Blessings to you my friend, your kindness means so much to me. You helped me thru hard times when my Liz was sick. I will always remember and I will always love you. xoxo, Susie
DeletePrayers for Karen and all of you.
ReplyDeleteThank you Ann. I am grateful for all the wonderful people who blog and will take time to pray for others. My daughter will appreciate all of you too. Blessings ,xoxo, Susie
DeletePraying for your daughter, Susie. Don't worry until they tell you to worry. Most nodes on lungs are not cancer and I know that is the first place your mind goes. Praying that she gets an "all clear" on her biopsy. xo Diana
ReplyDeleteDiana, I sure do not want to worry. But you know how we mommies can be. I am thankful Karen had her heart scanned and that the radiologist found that node. I know Karen is in good health and she is a strong person. So doesn't smoke but once did when she was in her early twenties. Thank you for your prayers, Bless you, xoxo, Susie
DeleteIt appears my sister has some of the same flower as you do and I have been seeing more rabbits than ever. I watched a lady chase on out of her garden.
ReplyDeleteAll my best wishes and prayers go to your daughter.
Boston Boy, I think the rabbits and chipmunks are trying to take over. I also wonder if those granules you put out for pest even work. Thank you so much for your kind prayers for my daughter. Blessings, xoxo, Susie
DeletePraying all goes well tomorrow!
ReplyDeleteLet us know what happens.
Blessings to you all.
