Walking In The Park....

Going for a walk in our city park today. It's easy to walk there, and twice around is a mile. This arch is at one entrance, which is a walkway.  There's a drive entrance on the east side of the park. I have walked  on the roads here for the past two days...but a short distance.
Yesterday, when I posted the Sisters were moving...it was the Nuns at the St.Joseph academy, not my sisters. Actually I invited two of my sisters to lunch yesterday. We spoke of the academy. My sister Jeanie worked there, before retiring, She told me why they were closing. Seems there were not enough Nuns , for the people in charge,to keep the place full staffed for a nursing home. This does come down to money. So the 7 or 8 Nuns were moved to other nursing homes run by the catholics. Sorry if some of posts are confusing :):):)
Still praying for the East , they could sure use a break.   Enjoy this day. xoxo

  3. What a nice place to go to walk! Hopefully those who had worked at the nursing home are able to be placed elsewhere.

    Have a good Thursday!

  4. Sadly seems like everything is about money these days. I have been watching "Call the Midwife" on PBS on Sundays at 8 PM and it features nuns and nurses and I love it.

  5. I'm praying for everyone in the Northeast, too. It's such a hard time for them. I don't know why...but your blog is not showing up on my fav list. I'm going to put it in again and see what happens! Sweet hugs!

  6. Susie,
I love this picture of the sun shining over the arch. Your walk in the park must have been so peacful. Thank you for your comment today about my niece. You always leave the nicest comments, and I appreciate that. We would love for you to follow us, and I would certainly come back and follow you as well. Your blog posts are very simple and cheerful to me, two things which I love.
