Flooding....

Here's a picture of the neighbor's yard.  Still raining here. dreary day. I am going to light some candles to brighten my mood. The bottom photo is water standing around our mailbox. Hope it stops raining soon. We are suppose to get ice, sleet ,and snow mix , after this rain gets through here. But farther south in the state they received 3-5 inches of rain. Praying for them. xo

  1. Sad to see the flooded areas. Candlelight will be welcome on such a dreary day. Take care.

  4. Be careful! Flooding warnings here today too. It sounded like the bottom fell out of the sky earlier but has let up some.

  5. Sorry about the flooding, but hope you needed the moisture like all of us do (just not in this form...huh?) I'm hoping the candles helped your mood...as I think they always seem to do!

    Blessings and stay safe!

  7. Yikes. I hope you stay warm and dry. We were supposed to get 2 1/2 inches of rain this week-end. It rained some on Friday and nothing since. Even last night they said 2 inches today.....nope nothing yet. But that is okay. That flooding stuff is scary. Be safe.

  8. We've got no sun, but no rain either. Ah flooding...I was in Lower Manhattan last week and the cash machine area I've used in the past is still being reconstructed for hurricane damage. I have become very respectful of the power of water.
