Saturday Drive....

Took a little drive through the park. It was pretty there. The snow is melting, and some ice and rain is in the forecast for today. I love our old courthouse, so I try to get pictures of it when I can. I went to our mailbox for the paper this morning in my  pajamas. It's not exactly warm  but when the wind isn't blowing in winter, it can seem warm. Yesterday was nice enough for me to walk the driveways.
Ted and I ate lunch at Bob Evans. Nice to get out and about...but scary too. I am becoming a germaphobe.  I hate when people go out to the stores, when they know darn good and well they are sick. Then I have to think..maybe they have no one to help them out. That is so sad. Hope you are well , if not hope someone is watching out for you. xoxo

  2. What a charming courthouse. I love the old courthouses. So many here in TN are also on a square where you have to circle the square when driving through and that slows the cars down where you have time to see all the little mom and pop shops around them.

I too worry about getting out among the germs but staying home all the time is not good either so I risk it.

  3. Your town, courthouse and all is such a wonderful place, Susie. I love old courthouses. We have quite a beautiful on here downtown, too.

I don't like all the germs out and about either but I just try to stay as proactive as I can in the public- xo Diana

  4. Hi Susie, It is a rainy, foggy, and 41 degrees here in our neck of the woods. I am reading a few blogs before I head to the nursing home. I am thankful that I have 4 lane highway all the way there. I love taking drives to little towns and see their courthouses. They usually have some unique places to see. I don't like germs and I try to be careful to not take something to the nursing home. If I don't feel good, I stay home. Have a great day. Hugs and Prayers from your Missouri Friend.

  5. We are expecting the same weather, I only worry about my kids having to drive in it. Glad you got out and yes, I worry about the germs, too. Always wash your hands when you get home. I have a bit of a cough still from a cold I'm almost over. I went into a coughing fit in a restaurant and although I had my napkins over my mouth, I got a few stares. Everyone is worried about this flu going around.

    Happy Sunday!

    XO,
    Jane

  7. BRRR! Those pictures look "cold" - hope you get a thaw soon. Our temps have been quite mild, but it has been very gray for days, EXCEPT for about an hour of real SUNSHINE today!! YAY!

  8. Yes, we have been well. I clean the grocery cart with the sanitizing wipes most stores provide. I do agree with you about people who are ill staying home. I hope your Sunday has been a good one. xo Nellie
