Glimpses Of Displays.....

This desk/dresser is in the  window at Horton's. I loved the idea of rustic little boards bradded to the front of the drawers.
There's some raw cotton wreaths. I love these, you  could add things to them, for various seasons.
I liked the basket that's holding these giant clothes pins. These pins are about 4 inches long.
This is how they are being used, to hold cards or pictures. This would be so cute in the laundry room.
Lots of French wired ribbons. These are ticking striped.
Plenty of those 30x 30 kitchen towels. I think they are cute as a center cloth over your regular table cloths.
Here's a setting of  melmac dishes.  A basket of salt and pepper shakers.  I just caught the edge of a basket of paper napkins.

One of my favorite things for displaying is the wonderful plaid picnic pieces.
A zip open cooler holding a nice autumn bouquet of leaves and flowers.    Baskets , wire and wicker. Glass jar containers. So many cute ideas for hold fall displays.
I love the look of this big fall bouquet sitting in front of this board. I would call this a bread board , but I am not sure that's right.  It's the old brick wall that helps make this a good look .
I'll have to go back to Horton's once they have all their store arranged for the Autumn Market.  Mrs. Horton is so kind about letting me take photos.
Wishing all of you a great day. XO

  4. Ahhhhhh it all looks so wonderful. Enjoy Horton's it is awesome. I wish I could come back there. In the plaid picture I remember the white ruffle skirted table in the corner. I loved that skirted table. I wanted the owner to sell it to me but it is their display only. Have fun at the show.

  5. I love those red plaid picnic pieces. How wonderful that you got to see some of the goodies for Fall at Horton's. Do you remember the red plaid lunch boxes and thermoses? They were so Fall looking. I used to take a lunch bag to school, but then my kids sometimes had the cute lunch boxes that came out that year. aahh, such sweet memories, Susie.

  15. Fall is just around the corner, possibly my favorite season. Hopefully we will take a trip or two when the colors start changing. Vermont is a likely spot as I have only been there once.

  16. Paul, I love fall also. When it gets chillier and closer to Halloween..I think of my daughters and I hurrying to finish doing dishes and going the block and half to my mom's house. We would visit and run like the dickens to get back home, so they could get ready for school the next day, lay out clothes, bath, do homework. I miss those times....and wonder now did I enjoy them to the fullest, I pray I did. Blessings, xoxo,Susie
p.s. I went to Ben and Jerry's ice cream plant in Vermont.
