Remember the green plastic benches in the park? This is one of the newer brown colors. It is in front of the library doors.
It says Reduce, Reuse, Recycle. These benches are made of recycled plastic water bottles and caps .
In the library foyer, shelves of books for sale. Some are donated books and some old books discontinued from the library shelves. Hard covers are a dollar. Children's books 50 cents, paperbacks are 50 cents . There's old VHS tapes too. I thought it odd that there was nothing in the display cases.
This stained glass was one of three, that used to be in the front of our old library that was torn down. At least they saved them . They are hanging in the library now.
Potato vine in a pot, near the paver brick walkway. The vine has completely taken over it's container.
I love seeing mailboxes. I can't explain why, just do. The potted plants around our town are still beautiful.
This is a long flowerbed dividing the courthouse parking lots. It's so pretty
I see it has some of the same plant that are in the containers about town.
I love our old courthouse. It's had many renovating things done to it through the years. There's something going on with our big Catholic church. Some dangerous and I'll have to do a blog about that. You know how some buildings just seem to define your town....this courthouse and some churches here do that for me.
Hope all of you have a great day. XO
