But if you looked to the east, the clouds were picking up lots of color.
This was about 8:15 last night. The clouds were turning golden.
Then the dusk to dawn light came on. I love having this light. It gives light in the front and the neighbor's barn light is on for the back yard area.
I saw in this morning's paper that our weather forecast for the next few days is looking good. No rain till Tuesday. This could easily change before Tuesday. LOL. I am ready for some dry days to get some things done outside. I had some painting of yard things I wanted to get done.
Hoping all of you have a beautiful weekend. XO
Happy Friday the 13th!
ReplyDeleteHappy Friday to you too Tessa. Hope your weekend is a great one. Get well. xoxo, Susie
DeleteYou do have the most marvelous sunsets there. I hope you have clear weather for those outside tasks!
ReplyDeleteToday has been sunny and kind of chilly. My husband is going on his fishing trip....then I can have the shop to myself. I'll paint things. :) Blessings, xoxo, Susie
DeleteI hope your wish for dry days to get what you need to get done happens for you, we have rain and cold weather coming,, you captured some beautiful skies!
ReplyDeleteHi Laurie, Today so far is sunny ...but chilly. It did see people have laundry out on the line and it made me think of my mother. She would be doing laundry on such a day as this. I miss her. Blessings, xoxo, Susie
DeleteWhat gorgeous skies!
ReplyDeleteThank you Jo(e). Hope all is well there in your area. I am so tired of our rains. I will say today is beautiful and chilly. Blessings, xoxo, Susie

DeleteOur forecast has NO RAIN for TODAY only!! The next 10 - yes!!
ReplyDeleteLinda, Our weatherman said today..13 days into May, and we have had rain 10 of those days. Dang, no wonder I am all crumbly. LOL. But girl, today was heavenly beautiful...just a bit chilly. The skies are so clear and pretty right now...I'll be looking to take a sunset picture this evening. Blessings to you and LD. love you guys, xoxo, Susie
Deleteonly temporarily..It's around next week as well..beautiful right now!!!
ReplyDeleteNice pictures...have a fun weekend..
Missy we have had 10 days of rain in this first 13 days of May. But today is just beautiful , clear blue skies and everything looks pretty. It's chilly though, you'll need a jacket. Bless you, xoxo, Susie
DeleteThe sky looks beautiful in your neck of the woods. Living in the city limits sometimes hard to see beautiful sunsets or sunrises. It's raining right now and really chilly. I thought spring was here. Noticed the plants at the store....their leaves are frost bitten. Finally figured out I can comment via Microsoft Edge...guess I cannot use IE or Google Chrome anymore. Hopefully this will be my remedy.
ReplyDeleteHi Louise, So glad to hear from you. Hope you are doing well. We had a pretty day today and hopefully more coming. It has rained 10 out of 13 days so far in this May. Blessings, xoxo, Susie
DeleteWe have rain and sun every day. It's so wet that it is hard to work in the yard. I am ready for some dry weather also. Lovely sunset photos.
ReplyDeleteKathy, I wondered if you got the yard mowed there. Ted mowed early this morning and it was still kind of wet...but he just mowed anyway. It's suppose to get chillier this evening. It's hard to think of what to wear. Take care, Bless you and Joe, xoxo, Susie
DeleteI looked at some plants today but I am holding off, almost to memorial day. I want to scream when I see people buying the tender plants to put out in the cold. We are so impatient for impatiens.
ReplyDeletePeggy, My pansies are survived...but they look whimpy at times. I am worried for the plants in my beds that come back each year. We are to be near 30 degrees this weekend. Brr...that's too chilly for May and me. Hope you are doing well . Blessings, xoxo, Susie
DeleteThat's cool, Susie. We need better weather to manage our daily life.
ReplyDeleteHi, Glad you came by. We are getting chillier weather. I just feel that March, April, and now May have been all mixed up as far as temperatures and wetness. We had rain 10 out of 13 days, here in May Blessings, xoxo, Susie
DeleteI hurried and mowed last night after work. It is windy and cold today-in the 40's. I really do want to plant my tomatoes but might stay inside most of the day. I am off to Shipshewana to stock up on cooking supplies.
ReplyDeleteHi honey, Wish I could go to Shipshewana too. :) Karen is coming over today. I am giving her some mums, red nancy, pachysandra and ivy, to take home. But it sure is brisk here. Be safe going to the market. I love you sweetheart, love, mommy
DeleteLovely sky, Susie. It is raining right now, as I type. It sure helps to green things up, and the leaves are showing more and more now. Have a good weekend. -Jenn
ReplyDeleteThank you Jenn. I wish you the same. I think we may even get a showers from what I just heard on the news. I like to get outside every chance I can. Blessings, xoxo, Susie
DeleteI don't know what it is about your area, Susie, but you have the most beautiful skies.
ReplyDeleteHave a restful Sunday, dear.
