Rainy Fun Day...

I met up with Savannah and Karen in the parking lot of Kohl's. It was clouding up to rain...but thankfully it only rained while we were the stores. LOL.  Doesn't the tree behind my head look like a Vegas head dress? LOL   Karen and Savannah were shopping for summer clothes, for a trip they are planning.
After the shopping, we went to Red Lobster for lunch.  Karen treated me for mother's day. So sweet.  I wanted to go to Bob Evans, but it was over flowing with a crowd there.
Karen likes Red Lobster and Savannah likes pop corn shrimp. But Savannah only ate biscuits and French fries. She took more biscuits and her shrimp home.
I want to send this picture to my granddaughter Lynzie...she loves going to Red Lobster with papaw and I.
Karen ordered this new dish...looks like all shrimp to me.
This is my usual lunch pick. Chicken strips and grilled shrimp. The bake potatoes there are wonderful. I could eat a potato, slaw and biscuit and be happy.  But all our food was so good.
I truly enjoyed my time with the girls.  We were going to go to the Wolf Park, but rescheduled do to rain....because it would have been outdoors. I also received a purple wave petunia from Karen, in memory of my mom, as purple was her favorite color.
Hoping all of you are having a good weekend.  I want sunshine, I think it's trying to pop out.  Blessings, XO

    1. Linda, It's when I give up sugars that I am the hungriest. I did enjoy my lunch. I always drink water when dining out...but there are times I would love a steaming cup of coffee.Nothing makes me madder than a bad coffee...so I drink water. LOL. Thank you for the good wishes. I also wish you a Wonderful Mother's Day. That was sweet of the quads to surprise you. LOL. Loved their little cards. Blessings, love you, xoxo, Susie

  6. Oh I love your fancy head dress. Vegas here I come! HaHa. Red Lobster, one of our favorites. In fact got a gift card for my Birthday we haven't used. May have to try that baked potato. Usually don't get that with my shrimp or lobster. What a great time and fun shopping too. Have a wonderful Mother's Day.

    1. Janet, Even though shrimp is a wonderfully low fat dish..it's high in cholesterol...so my Teddy and I do not eat it often. I used to eat it everyday on my vacations to Florida. LOL Blessings for a happy mother's day to you. xoxo, Susie
