Playing Around.....

A couple weeks ago, I copied arranging dishes and things to make center pieces. I saw it on Carol's Art and Sand blog.  This is what I came up with for now.  It's a ceramic cabbage on a matching dish. I changed out the forsythia for faux pink apple blossoms. Added a jeweled fridge magnet. I also used the same platter , pitcher, and fake candle.  I used my lace table cloth and added a pale pink napkin to center this display. I will be doing this again. :):)
Also wanted to show you the cute pot that I used for the purple petunia, my daughter , Karen gave me to honor my mom. I have had this pot for some time. It's made of resin , clustered with fruit.
I won't be doing much today. Have to rest my ankles after being on my feet so much yesterday.  Hope all of you have a great day. XO

    1. Sheri, I have thought about painting over that pot with a white wash type of paint. This petunia is like it made of velvet...so deep purple and soft looking. It has a wonderful fragrance also. Blessings, love you, xoxo, Susie

    1. I know what you mean...I have never seen so many highs and lows in temperature all in a few days span. I sure hope it doesn't frost. If the wind doesn't blow you could use newspapers. I am hoping our rain is clearing out of here . It would be nice to have some dry days. Blessings, xoxo, Susie
