Call Me.....

This is the cell phone I have carried since getting one. I am not a phone person, truly. I did love this little keypad to text on, I could use my thumb nails and text very fast.  Now this wee phone has been dubbed "Antiquated" . So it's no longer in service.
So Ted got me this new phone. Way more phone, than I'll ever use or need. I love the camera feature it has, great photos.
You can see the difference in size. I will be getting a case for it and a protective screen cover. I hope I can learn to transfer my photos from it to my blog files.
Then after the phone store...we went to Menard's. I picked up some  geraniums to get started on my containers. I love the old fashioned red ones best. I will get some bigger plants from Horton's store in town.
Having lunch with my oldest daughter today.  Her son will be coming home for lunch , so I will get to talk with Jake. He has a new job and is very excited about it.
Please send good thoughts and or prayers to those in floods here in the U.S. and overseas. Crazy weather.  Wishing you a great weekend, XO.

  1. I have a tiny flip phone. A friend wanted to get me a smart phone and I told her I don't need one. All I need a phone to do is make and receive calls. I don't understand people who live on their phones. Hope you learn how to use the new one quickly.

    1. Kathy, This phone is smarter than it needs to be for me.LOL. I can't believe the people who can't just go even an hour without phones. I only have a phone because of safety when hauling my grandkids. Blessings, xoxo, Susie

  3. The phones we got, though not able to text, can take pics. And I have not learned how to do this yet!!! -moan-cry-sigh- I am so not techy!!! lol!

Everyone but me, puts their cell phone photos, on their IG. Easy, I guess. Nope! Not me!

I take pic with my little camera... download it to my big computer... mail it "to myself"... then go to my mail box, on my Galaxy... down load my pics, from my mail box on Galaxy... to IG... and post them.

    Can you imagine?????? -grin-

Guess that has to make me a very, very dedicated IG'er! ,-))))

But also, a "stone age" member of the new techy world!!!!

    1. Tessa, You sound just like me...I have to go the long way around to do things on my computer even..this phone is way to smart. I got a phone to have when hauling the grands , for safety. You can imagine my shock when the salesman said my phone was antiquated and I have had just two years. I will have to have my daughters help me. LOL. Or some kindergartener. 5. I like red geraniums too. The flooding is scary, we have friends in the military and I saw where soldiers in Texas were lost in the flood.

    1. Janet, The loss of the solders makes me angry...how many people in authority tell us citizens to turn around, don't drown ? I can't stop thinking of that scary weather. So much rain. I saw on the news where Europe is flooding also. I hope your friends are well. Blessings, xoxo, Susie

  12. I'm thinking about running to Hortons sometime soon. I saw where they have clothes now, and I love that brand. Fun and different.
The geraniums are pretty and Menards is about ten minutes from our house!
You will love your phone when you get used to it. I didn't know a thing about mine when I first got it, and now I don't even use a real camera and I just plug my phone into my laptop and it starts downloading on it's own. Easy Peasy girl.

Have a nice weekend, Susie! We're hoping to explore a little beach town down the road from us and eat at a new dockside lunch place.

  19. I switched from an android phone to an iPhone in February. The one thing that is a little more complicated is putting photos on my blog. It took a little creativity, but I've gotten it to work. If I'd known it was going to be more complex I might have thought more about it, but I really am liking my iPhone. I took a couple of classes at the Apple store to understand the phone better. Hope you come to like your phone as much as I have come to enjoy mine.

Yes, I am going to ask about a session on help using this. Thank you. Blessings, xoxo, Susie 'p.s. wish I were roaming the streets of NYC with you.

    1. Mildred, I was half scared to mention Jake's job. He's been there two week now and told his mom he would love to work there for 30m years. It's an awesome amount of pay with 401 k's. He's not even finished with his schooling. But he a did year of financial advising, maybe that helped. :):) I am praying it all works out for him. He's a great young man. He just did a golf fund raiser , to raise money for hi H.S. coach who is ill. Blessings, xoxo, Susie
