Horton's French Flea Market......

The French Market was going yesterday , and continues thru today.
In the center of the outdoor booth spaces , sits a pretty water fountain surrounded by ferns.
By the way these ferns are on sale. So hee-haw , here's my mule carrying the two we bought. Poor Ted said he felt like his arms were much longer after carrying these to the truck.
There were flowers galore. Every color one would want.
I did not even get to look at this group, but snapped a quick photo.
Loved this garden flag stuck into this half barrel full of  an orange combination.
This little suitcase was planted in ivies and flowers. I could do this myself , next year maybe.
This is where they will make you up a bouquet of your choice. Mrs. Horton's mom usually is the florist . I did not see her yesterday, but it was getting very humid. Maybe she will be there today. It is cooler.
Succulents in all kind of metal containers.  Love the looks of this with the tarnished silver tray, against the old wooden backdrop.
Vining flowers , ferns and many purple petunias , in this part of the greenhouse. I'll show all I bought tomorrow.  I had to show all of you the prettiness of the plants and flowers at this year's French Flea Market.
Wishing all of you a great Saturday. Be kind please. XO

    1. Peggy, I am mad at myself for not buying up every old tarnished silver item I have come across. LOL. Those old pieces can be used outside and we don't have to worry about cleaning them. Thank for the kind words on my 4th post. I so enjoyed the babies. Blessings, xoxo, Susie

  4. Susie - What gorgeous flowers! Makes me want to go buy some however, with our temps hovering at 100 it wouldn't last long. So, guess I'll wait.

    1. Judy, It would be way too hot to be out planting, where you live. But don't you think we could do those wee suitcases next spring. :):) Stay cool and be safe. Blessings , xoxo, Susie

  6. Oh Susie you will have to let me know when this is next year. I am sorry I missed it. I would have loved to come down there again. Next year give me the heads up and I will come down and we can meet too. I remember all the cool vendors that were there and also the store was wonderful. You live in such a cute town too. Sorry I missed it.
    Those ferns are gorgeous.

    1. Kris, I am so glad I went for that bit on Friday. I ended up watching Emma for a few days and she would not have wanted to go to the market. Altough there were many things she would have loved having. I will absolutely get the word to you early next year and maybe you , your daughter or Terry could attend. It would be so fun to finally meet up. Those ferns weighed so much after they were watered. They look good . Blessings, love, xoxo, Susie

    1. Vee, the ferns were so big, we decided to not have them on the porch. We hung one by the shop and one from the scotch pine's low limb. Blessings, xoxo, Susie
