More pictures of the French Market . These are all from Friday, as I did not get to go back on Saturday. Too many things happening.
I bought another garden flag. This can go from late summer into autumn. Old red truck with daisies, apples and a puppy.
I love these towels. I use them as table toppers. they measure 30"x 30" . I just center them over my table clothes. This was such a cute design for summer.
Bought a ceramic ornament....in our hometown's honor of it's 200th year celebration.
A little book on the history of General John Tipton, for whom our county and town were named.
Bought a little bracelet that was made by Donna Jenkins.
Here's Donna stretching to hang a banner of her she-shed Tinkerhouse at her booth. She wears some of the cutest things.
Lots of unusual pottery items here. I did love this big urn, but had no place for it at our house.
This is the same booth. Many different colors of furnishings. Sort Parisian apartment styles.
This booth was lots of white , potted greenery , and metal pieces.
This is a closer look at some of the religious statues and sacred hearts. Their prices were very low.
I liked this big directional metal piece. I do not know what they are calling these. But it looks good in the aqua color, on the brick wall.
Here's where I bought the towel . I should have bought the little pail to go with it, now that I am looking at it. There were spray scents for your home .
I liked seeing how things are put together. This looked like it may have been a lower kitchen cabinet with tin ceiling tiles attached to the doors. A shabby chic look. Cute shelf sitting on top. I have a few more pictures I'll post this week.
I ended up watching Emma for a few days. So I did not ask her if she'd like to go to Horton's...knowing it was not her thing. So we have been talking, watching some fun movies. Papaw and I took her to dairy queen for a lunch yesterday. She enjoyed that. Might have to make some crafts while she is here.
Wishing all a beautiful Sunday. XO
Wow, I would of loved that! Great idea, a French Market. And yesterday was beautiful out.
ReplyDeleteAnn, I saw a bit of pyrex there at the market...it was white and aqua. I will show the picture this week. Yesterday was awesome here...blessings, xoxo, Susie

Jo, I love going with my daughter to this little market..but she's busy with her sick husband. So I went along, then came home and took my husband to carry those ferns. LOL. I am glad it was a good weekend for the venders....althaough it did pour down on Thursday and they had to batten down everything. Blessings for a nice peaceful Sunday. xoxo, Susie
DeleteWhat a fun way to spend a day.
ReplyDeleteI am trying not to buy anything more (new or old) for our house, but I think I need a day like this just for fun.
Carol, I know I need to purge this house...before buying another thing. :):) Some times things are so tempting. Some times I am so weak. I am taking some things to the Goodwill this week....that will help. Blessings, xoxo, Susie
DeleteLooks like a fun day and a great place to shop.
ReplyDeleteJudy
Judy, They never have as good a supply of antiques as you come across. I do like to buy small things...nothing big other than the ferns. :):) Blessings, xoxo, Susie
DeleteGlad you had such a good time. It looks awesome. I wonder if General John Tipton is the one that Tipton County TN is named after.
ReplyDeleteKathy, I wish I knew that answer. There's also a Tipton county Ga. I will read this little book and maybe learn more. Hopefully. :):) Blessings, xoxo, Susie
DeleteWhat a feast for the eyes. So many pretties to look at. I would love to go to that place!
ReplyDeleteSome times I like to look and then maybe try to make some of the stuff myself. LOL. It's fun to go there and walk thru and see who all we know and maybe haven't seen for some time. The owners are just the nicest family. Blessings, hope all is well there. xoxo, Susie

Let's Add Sprinkles
Katie, There was a booth of signs and some of them had sparkles. :):) I just did not have enough time there...so I may go back this coming Friday and look at the things the Horton's have in the store. Blessings, xoxo, Susie

DeleteOh, you know how much I love events like this! I would have gone crazy with all the cute things. Can we share that bracelet? It looks like it might fit me too! hahaha! Enjoy your week sweet lady! Hugs, Diane
ReplyDeleteOoooo, the French market, how fun! So many wonderful things to look at. You know, those sacred hearts that are shown here are called "Milagros" and I have one of them hanging on the wall in my entrance. They are beautiful, and most of them open up so you can put notes or prayers inside.
ReplyDeleteIsn't Dairy Queen the best, Susie. I go there sometimes too. I bet Emma loved going there with you and Ted.
love, ~Sheri
