Bouquets....

I make myself a couple of small bouquets yesterday afternoon. Some daisies, black eyed susans, and the last two roses. I put them in this small creamer, and placed it by the fat chicken my daughter Kathy gave me.
Cut two big flower heads from the hydrangea, put them in a jar vase,  Kathy made for me.She painted a jar with a glue mixed with craft paint....it has the same color of a Ball jar. Kathy is my crafty daughter ,by far.
Do you think my mums are taking over the front flowerbed?? The daisy like mum near the chimney was suppose to come out this year....and there it grows, same spot. :):) A small mum has popped up in front of the drawf  Japanese maple. I will be relocating this mum. I love my little maple tree, want to give it enough room.
We are going out and about some time today...to check out area farmers' markets. I wish all of you a great day. xo

  2. Good Morning, Your bouquets and flowers are so pretty. I wish I had a green thumb, but I don't. I have flowers, but they are artificial. Enjoy your getting out and about. Our temperature is in the 50's this morning. It seems more like fall then the last of summer. Have a great weekend. Hugs and Prayers from your Missouri Friend.

  3. Your Mums remind me of the flowers we saw yesterday. Some how they managed to mix two colors together in such a way that it looks like they came from the same plant.

  5. Pretty bouquets. I haven't had any mums in this garden, I really should find some room for them.
Enjoy the farmers' markets. I am hoping to call in at one tomorrow.

  12. Cute bouquets. I thought about painting some jars, didn't know you should use glue. Will Kathy do a guest post on your blog and show us how it's done?

  15. I have a friend who has mums along both sides of his driveway..They get at least 4 ft wide every year and every year he divides them and gives them away..They are beautiful until they get rained hard on..Then his driveway looks bad until spring..

  16. Good morning! Your yard and flowers are just lovely. Have you ever wanted to plant one of those "cutting gardens?" They are all flowers that are for floral arrangements. HOW I wish I had one. Maybe one day, but it best be soon. I'm getting old.. :)
    Thank you for stopping by!
    Big hugs,
    Mona
