Going-going-gone......

Say goodbye to all the pretty leaves around these parts. They are in a high wind that's been blowing  for two days. One sweet thing....we do not have to rake so much.:):)

Sycamores....

Sycamores have big pretty leaves when they are green. The leaf of the sycamore just turns brown in fall. When more than four leaves fall off the tree, your yard will need raked :):) Just a few more to go here.

Sunsets....

The last two days have been very nice. I have enjoyed the sunsets,hope all of you have. Today is going to be a wonderful day.

She Fights Like A Champ....

This is my daughter Liz. She has 20 more radiation treatments, then she will be on the road to recovery. She has always tried to keep a smile on her face. What a trooper she has been thru her fight with cancer. May God bless her.

Oddly Funny......

Spotted this bus/van on the streets of D.C.  What a hoot. It had lots of surf boards behind the van insert. I had to get a picture of it.:):)

Mount Vernon, Home Of George Washington....

We toured the main house, grounds and gardens, at Mount Vernon. When we were leaving, I saw a man painting the chain fence....so I asked if I could help. I just wanted my daughters to see I am always working :):) What fun. Now I can say I have worked at Mount Vernon.

At The White House.....

Here is a picture of me at the White House. Never dreamed I'd be standing in front of it , not in my live time. I loved our trip to D.C. , plan to go again. You can not see enough in one visit. Things look and feel diffently in person. Some things were much bigger(Lincoln Memorial) and some seemed smaller (White House)
