Goodies From The Bazaar....

 I bought these jewelry items from a booth at the church bazaar...25 cents each !!!! 2 necklaces, earrings, bracelet , flag pin, and a gold barrette. I love this bracelet, I put it on when I got it and people asked me where I got it. :):)

 I also picked up this set of flatware, some forks missing, but in new condition. I gave this to my daughter for extra ,during family gatherings. It had two serving spoons and a butter knife also. I should have kept that :):)

 These old kitchen towel, faded but still pretty. They are very soft too. Might make sachets with them.

This is so clever. It's a bottle of hand sanitizer  in a handy little crocheted thingy. You can button it on the strap of your purse and it will still be in the purse, very handy when you need it. A nice big button, easy to work.  I shop very conservatively. I'll probably give my daughter Kathy the necklaces , to rework into her bracelets .

 Many wars have been fought. Many service men and women have given so much for our freedom.

The Church Bazaar....

 This is the way our day was on the way to the church. Wow, what a glorious sunrise. It was nippy and pretty. You did need a light coat to start the day. It warmed up later and was beautiful all day long.

 This booth had things I had never seen before. Adult bibs !!! For people in nursing homes. Clever idea.

 This room had many hand towels , some aprons,  doilies, hot pads. The ladies of this church are busy.

 This small room was totally Christmas decorations and give away prices. By the end of the day, most of it was gone.This is just one corner of the room.  I was tempted, but did not buy any more decorations.

 This is our spot , it's one  8 foot table. Look at that sad little fleece I brought for the table. I thought the tables were 6 feet long. I am getting myself a large table cloth....soon.

We were invited to two other bazaars in December. One is about 4 miles from us and one about 30.  So we said we would like to try to attend and see how we do. Today was more orders than buying , we did sell a bit. Normally Ted will not do orders , but it was a women. who wanted  her 9 children to have the same gift. Nine grown children.  She wanted them to have the paper towel holders with cardinals on the dowel rods. She wanted cardinals, because her husband loved them so much. We had a great day with everyone there. I will show what all I bought soon. xoxo

Photos From Wednesday.....

 I love this tree and how the owners have trimmed it. They get to enjoy pretty colors of fall.

 This  tree is by the credit union. It has green, yellow, red, orange and burgundy colors. All on one tree.

Then I got a nice shot of the sunset. It was getting very chilly at this time. You know what is so very near...old man winter.  Yesterday my sister came to lunch. We had a great visit .  She always helps with the dishes.:):)  Hope all of you have a great day and an enjoyable weekend. xo

A Bit More.....

 The last of my Horton pictures for this week.:):) I think the lady ,that owns this setting,lived around the corner from me when I lived in town. I wish her great success, this weekend at Hortons.

 The White Farmhouse Booth may just have a sign for you. I had my eye on that crusty old toy truck. Love..

This area was roped off, but I squatted down to snap this photo. I see the Santa sleigh in this booth. Loving all the old black doors. Oh I see a red birdcage.:):) Boy we use a lot of candles, don't you think? I may have to make some before this weekend. xo

Red Plaid Is The Theme.....

 You can see that baby Jesus is wrapped with a plaid ribbon :):) Plain brown paper wrapped gits have big satin plaid ribbons. I actually like brown paper for gift wrapping with any ribbon, twine, or lace strips.

 Jesus was in his manger and gifts are in a bassinet. Wouldn't that bassinet make a nice laundry basket in a laundry room of white.

 I enjoyed seeing all the old birdcages put to good use in the decorating . I have a huge birdcage..hmmm.

The Horton's have this old pedal tractor. I can't wait to see if it is included in the decorating. I know they will never paint it, or at least I hope they don't. I love how rustic it looks. Enjoy this great day. xo

Sneak Peek....

 Horton's is having a bit of Christmas this coming weekend. It's going on while we will be at the church bazaar in the next town...sad for me. A few places in our town are setting up for a peek at Christmas.

 Karen Horton told me these odd buckets are for olive picking. This booth is just getting set up.

 How cute is this...the plaids mixed with glittery leaves and berries. All this in one of their display urns.

I absolutely loved the plaid covered books along with these chunky cardinals. Doesn't it just say "Christmas"? I'll have to go back to Horton's next week. If any of these are still there...well...I may have to buy some. :):)
