Picture Of Horton's....

Here's that chicken roost on a shelf atop and old work table.  You can see the candle and the animal picture in this area. If you click the pictures you can make them bigger.

This is a combination of pieces , all in whites and off whites. I loved that big wicker basket on the dark table.
This red piece  that  has direction letters on it was about $150.   Very nice shape and about two feet across. See the chicken picture...love it.
Here's  a  white goat picture along with a red Joy sign, I like this display.
I saw this sweet  little dresser  in  aqua. Some bowls of aqua colored ornaments also.
This area had a white table with burlap runner trimmed in lace. The tree in the corner is so pretty in person. You can see an old door in the back, they use lots of old doors and windows in this store.
On top of the china cabinet , were some  square forms of twine with burlap ribbons. they had glitter and lights too.  Would look cute in a wagon on the porch.  Just thought I would post some of the pictures I took on my return trip to Horton's.  I hope you have enjoyed them.  I think you can see something different every time you go to that store.
Wishing all a great weekend. XO

  1. I love these pictures. What a wonderful place Horton's is. I hope I can find something similar around here. I think my favorite is the goat picture with the red "JOY" in front of it. Those "gifts" on top of the china cabinet are great too. I might have to make something like that.

    1. Kathy, Once you retire, I bet you find the best shops . You'll have to find a great friend to run with. One that will enjoy looking or going to lunch or even crafting together thru holidays. You know that "gift box" idea...I bet we could paint some boxes and glitter them and attach a big bow...LOL. Blessings, xoxo,Susie

  2. Beautufully decorated.
I wish I had an " eye" for decorating but am glad that some people do and share their talent(s).
I, too, love the white lamb in front of "Joy."
    Thank you for these photos.
    Hugs,

    1. Jackie, Some times I will re-work a vignette a few times before I can leave it. You know we all have those hard to decorate spots in our home . LOL. I like that we are all different when we decorate. I love seeing others ideas. Blessings, xoxo,Susie

  3. What fun, fun photos. I love that old chicken "coop" thing. John's granddad made his living with a big hatchery business and traveled all over the USA selling big brooder coops, etc.

Hope you have a great Friday! xo Diana

    1. Diana, I think if as kids we knew how everything could be used in someone's décor...we would have hung on to it all. LOL. Hope you have a great weekend...a calm one too. Blessings, xoxo,Susie

  4. Horton's is all decked out for Christmas! Everything looks so nice, and for some reason when I saw the red section, I smiled BIG. Red for Christmas is a must in this house hehehe. The goat picture is precious, and I like the JOY sign too. I am wondering where she gets all her unique stuff from?

I'm so glad it snows for you where you live, Susie. It snows in many areas in Northern California, but I'm not that close to it. It also snows in Southern California at a place called Big Bear, which I heard was so pretty.

Have a nice and relaxing weekend, Susie.

    love, ~Sheri

    1. Sheri, You know I will post out first snow...just for you...I only hope it's in Jan. some time. LOL. Bless your heart. I love the different color schemes used for others' Christmas...I even tried the whites and pinks, one year...I was lost that Christmas, it seemed. So the next year I had to used all the original ornaments I have had for years. Given to me through the years, the ones my girls made , the ones I bought our first Christmas. I will use them till my end. So I love the pops of red through out the house . Can you believe how close it's getting? Blessings, love you, Susie
