Blue Skies.....

This is what our skies looked like on Friday. So blue and puffy white clouds.
None of the farmers around have been in their fields yet...too early and probably a bit wet. But it is to rain again tomorrow, Easter Sunday.
Friday evening's sunset.  I almost missed getting a shot. Took this from the porch.
Drove thru town today(Saturday). The skies are clear. The flowering magnolias are blooming.
I like the deep pink color of this magnolia against this apartment building with it's green walls and brown accents.
Got this shot as I drove by.  So much traffic for our small town today. Maybe people were getting their Easter things.   Food for a Sunday dinner and possibly candy eggs for kids. It was so nice to get out and drive thru my town.  I'll always love it.
I'd like to wish all of you a great Easter Sunday.   I will be with some of my children and grands. I will enjoy that.  Be safe. XO

    1. Nonnie, At this time of year when the flowering trees are stating to bloom...our mom would drive around and look at the trees and say.."oh I wish I had one of those." Mom had abig yard..but she would have need a couple acres to hold all the trees, bushes and shrubs she would wish for. :) I miss that mom of mine. I have some lilacs here that I got the starts from her lilac at our childhood home. I had a fabulous Easter. Hope you did too. Bless you, xoxo,Susie

    1. Boston Boy, Thank you...I love this one horse town. We have our share of hicks, money grubbers and just plain hard working God fearing people. I always hope the people that love our town and care for it and it's citizens, will win out in the end. Blessings to you, hope your Easter was filled with love, xoxo,Susie

    1. Debbie, Our spring came so nicely then it turned to crazy...it has been windy, rainy, and cold. Today we had a fire to get the chill off. I truly love all flowering trees and wish the blooms would last longer...but this wind is taking them away. The neighbor's apricot tree made it look like a snow had arrived. :):)This is the kind of snow I like , blossoms. Debbie, I have thought about the post you told me about...that does make sense. The last few times I have had a blood draw they work me over. :):) Blessings to you my sweet friend, love you girl, Susie

  11. The Pink magnolia trees are finally blooming in your area, Susie. We had an early spring, so the ones here have already come and gone. The sunset looks beautiful, and I'm glad you were able to take a picture of it.
