Shopping & Lunch.....

This pictures is a couple years old....but this is the two daughters I was with yesterday. Just as it looks in this photo...we laughed a lot.  I rode to Kokomo with Kathy(blue top) , so we could have a chance to talk a bit and Angie followed us in her car. The reason we did that was Kathy would be headed home and it saved her 40 miles.
We shopped Kohl's ,T.J.Maxx, and a couple shoe stores. Then had lunch at McAllisters.  I knew Kathy had a two hour drive back home, but I still hated to say bye.
When Kathy got  home she texted me that she had arrived  safely and there was not much traffic, so she made good time.  Then she texted that she had my camera in her car. I had forgotten it. I had even forgotten I took it....because I was going to get some pictures of us out together. I almost felt sick. I love having my camera at hand.  So next week Ted and I will be going to Shipshewana..as Kathy lives near there. I will get my camera first then I can take photos in the Amish area.
We had a fun time , that went by way to quickly. I had a wonderful Easter with my family. Hope all of you did as well.  Today, I will meet a new doctor. Hoping to find a family doctor. Ted has meet him and liked him very well.
Wishing everyone a good day, smile. XO

    1. We are not all day shoppers...thank goodness...my feet would never hold up for that. We shop to refresh our seasonal attire..all though Kathy called me down for buying greys and blacks. LOL. Blessings, xoxo, Susie

  3. Hope that you don't miss too many photo ops and that the week will zip on by... they always do. I think it is so much fun when mothers and daughters shop and go out for lunch and things. My daughter and I do that a few times a year, but not as often as my sister and I and our mom did. I miss those times. May your new doctor be an answer to prayer. I'd so like to find a good doc myself. I'm stuck with a nurse practitioner who knows precious little.

  6. I always hate to see my children go home, too. I wish they lived right in my back yard. That's not too much to ask, is it?

    1. Laurie, If our children can live in our backyards, they should at least live in the same town. LOL. It broke my heart when the twins moved 30 or more miles away and Kathy moved two hour drive away. My oldest lives in town and I live 5 miles away. She and I do lots of things together. Blessings, xoxo,Susie

  11. Oh Susie, what beautiful girls you have! And what a fun time!!!! Sorry you are without your camera, I almost feel naked, and that is always when I see the best shots! I know how hard it is now for me, since I'm doing the driving- I see things that I would have photographed, but can't due to the fact I'm driving!!! Ha! Ha! No multitasking while driving -lol

    1. Gert, In my little town...if I am driving on the road by myself I may take a picture..but it won't be focused well because I do try to stay in my lane. LOL. My daughters and I were laughing so hard in that photo..I was probably ready to wet my pants..we have to take lots of restroom breaks. see speaking of driving, I do not want to drive 2 hours to my daughters without Ted along.:) Blessings, xoxo, Susie

    2. I do live at the farthest end of Kokomo but I don't live far from the new highway. You can get from one end to the other in 15 minutes with the highway.

  13. Susie, it's so nice that you got together with your daughters for the day. I always pray that my girls get home safely in this heavy traffic, and I appreciate it when they come to see me.

I can't wait to see pics of the Amish area. There is an Amish movie that I've seen, and every time I watch it, it brings tears to my eyes. It's a beautiful story about forgiveness.

This is a cute picture of you and your girls, Susie. :)
