Artisan's Market.....

This is the weekend of the Artisan's Market. The farmer's market will be going on at the same time.  Last year many things were happening at the same weekend. I am not sure about this year's activities.
These are shots of Horton's preparing for their event. I do not know why all the bales of whatever , unless it's to keep people from tripping over the curbs in those areas.
I am getting ready to go up to this event. I will get pictures. But I am not getting any of that fudge, I just do not want those calories. LOL...we all know that fudge is so good.
I like that the Horton's decorate these window boxes along the fenced area that is part of their outdoors display and booths.
Please everyone, take a moment to send prayers or  good thoughts to the people of Dallas.   A tragedy has taken place there. We all need to know that   " all lives matter".   Be safe. XO

    1. Ktahy, I went already and got back home. It was getting steamy in town. We had a rain real early this morning...it only helped to make humidity. I did get a few photos. Thanks for your prayers...so sad isn't it. Blessings, xoxo, Susie

  2. It's a lot of fun to visit these kind of markets if the weather is nice. Hope it's not too hot in your area to enjoy it.

  3. Oh dear, you are the first to tell me this news as I have not been listening to the radio or tv today.

The event looks like a lot of fun. Will look forward to seeing more. Not even one piece of fudge?

    1. Vee, I am beyond sick of the news...too many killings...that never solves anything.
I went to the event at Horton's , enjoyed my time..Did not even sample the fudge that they pass around there. Bought a few nice things. Blessings, xoxo, Susie

  4. Love those kind of markets. We have what we call a Flea Market that stays open on the weekends about three miles from my house. Hope you enjoyed it. Like you we're getting plenty of rain now. This evening makes three days in a row we've had a line of storms drop down on us. Got about two inches each night. We sure did need it. Oh Well, it's the Dog Days of summer. Enjoy your weekend. xo

    1. Susie, Wow, that sounds like a lot of rain. Today (Sat.) is cooler than yesterday. The humidity was stifling( almost )on Friday. Hope you are feeling well and getting to enjoy your summertime. Gosh it is flying by my friend. Blessings, love you, xoxo, Susie

  5. Yes, Dallas has suffered a good deal this day. A friend, Reaoma, spent the day crying. Her daughter posted on Facebook tonight saying her mother's heart was broken over the news today. She lives in an assisted living residence and her daughter switched the TV over to the Hallmark channel. This has been a lot to absorb for anyone. We have kept it from the children as best we can.

    1. Linda, I was worried about the children hearing too much about all that is happening...some times, it feels like too much for Ted and I. That is so sad for your friend. It's so much to even try to understand. I always want to know more than the same things repeated on TV. Blessings to all there, be safe always, please. Love you guys, xoxo, Susie

    1. BJ, The owner of the store makes that fudge and it is so tempting, every flavor, so pretty too. They have trays of samples they pass out to the customers. Blessings, please be safe, xoxo, Susie

  7. Hi Susie,
I did not get to go to Horton's today. My Shug had hernia surgery. He is doing really well. I will see how he does tomorrow and maybe I'll get to sneak out for awhile. We'll see.
