Tuesday Morning......

You all know that seconds seem  to really count, when the skies are changing at sunrise.   It was so pretty with the tall pines of the neighbors down the road.
The little woods in back is losing it's colors quickly. This bright orange tree stands out.
Here's our tulip poplar and sycamore. That lattice fenced part is our LP tank.:)
Sun is up now and coming thru the trees.  I really like the long shadows of mornings and evenings.
 More leaves have fallen here.
When the sun is full over the morning horizon it reflects off the neighbor's windows  , a half mile away. It's so bright it seems like flood lights.
Back inside, I took a couple shots of the mantle. I decided to turn the books old page edges  facing ,rather than cover the books.
This is the picture of my great granddaughter's head as she looked out a window....since it's such a cute little punkin head it fits right in with fall décor.
I changed up the table decorations.
Almost too dark to get a good picture. :):)  I will take from and add to this for Thanksgiving .
We did not get frost last night....hooray.  It was a cold morning for Ted to go golfing . He golfs in Kokomo and it was 36 degrees  there this morning. Brrr. I have a dental appointment and you all know how much I am looking forward to that...NOT. It's constant follow ups on the same teeth and the sensitivity. I do use the special toothpaste for that.
Wishing all of you well. XO

  5. Such beautiful photos, Autumn looks so different in your part of the country. It's just starting here and very few trees have changed color and most will not lose their leaves.

    1. Hi Janet, Once our leaves turned it started to be so pretty around here. It's been an odd autumn for foliage. Some trees , such as flowering crabs and pears have lost their leaves already. Some tree have yet to get any color. Blessings for a beautiful season, be safe. xoxo, Susie

  6. Beautiful photos! Your leaves have more color than the ones near us for the most part I think. Living south of you, I assumed ours would be brighter and more colorful. I will say it is cool today though

    1. Carol, I thought our leaf changing was about 10 days later this year...but then some trees have lost their leaves and others are even now still green. I love seeing all the pretty colors, but it's a job when the leaves fall. Hope you get some pretty colors to enjoy. ...and that you do not have to rake. :):) Blessings, xoxo, Susie

  7. Susie, I saw your sunrise picture on my side bar, and had to come right over and take a look, it's beautiful. I'm so glad to have a friend who enjoys the sunrises as much as I do. Your white pumpkin looks sweet on the mantel, and I love that picture of your granddaughter looking out the window. It looks like you have a lot of white in your Fall decorating this year. I am always torn between the white pumpkins and the orange ones because I love them both. I have a dentist appt. this week too, Susie...no fun.

    1. Sheri, I already had those cloth pumpkins from last year. I bought a few on the tiny ones and I went with color in the mums and gourds. Although one mum was white. Sheri do you ever look at a picture of your children and want to cry...that how that little head picture of Layla's make me feel. It tugs my heart strings. I wish you good results at your appointment. Blessings, xoxo, love, Susie

    2. Oh, I had to reschedule the appt. for November. Yes, I sometimes look at pictures of the kids and get so sentimental. I have been thinking about my mom a lot lately and missing her. :)

  9. You got some great pictures this morning, Susie. There is a place across the bay from us that catches the morning sun and looks like bright lights coming across the water. Love your neighbor's windows.

  10. I am so glad you stopped by today, Susie. Blogger wiped out my blog roll last month and I have been trying to reconnect with everyone. You are added back in now so I can keep up with your posts. Love your beautiful photos today and I can really empathize with your dental woes. I have been going through much the same thing this year with two teeth. I am not sure they are ever going to get it right, but after spending a small fortune, two periodontal surgeries, a root canal, fillings, and now getting a crown they better. lol xoxo Laura

    1. Laura, I have a good smile, every one says my teeth are so nice (money in them)...but I can not chew on the right side. The pain comes and goes...now it's even sensitive to cold. It's making me nuts and poor. LOL. Hope you are doing better with your results. Blessings, xoxo, Susie

  11. Oh Susie, I know how much you "look forward" to your dental appointments. Maybe you need to treat yourself later with something special that makes you happy afterward (craft item, nail polish, bouquet of flowers...) I hope it all goes well. -Jenn

  14. Morning is definitely the best time of day! This time of year, I'm usually getting up just when the sunrise is at its prettiest. It's always so nice to see, but it still doesn't look as beautiful as your view!

We are having a rainy and cold day today but then tomorrow and the rest of the week it is going to be in the 70's so I will take that. Loving our unseasonably warm weather because we all know what is coming soon!
Glad the little gobblins will have a good day for trick or treating. Have a great rest of the week.

  19. I clicked on all your lovely pictures to get an up close and personal look at the colors of your yard. Everything is so lovely. I like the vignette on your table. I have never been good at putting together vignettes. I think it is a special talent and you have it.
