Some Decorations.....

My mother picked this "favorite deputy" up at a yard sale.:):) Since I thought that was funny, I put him on our tree. This little scenic ornament is 50 years old., one of my favorites. The glass nativity, was blown by the Lawrence family, glass blowers, in Nashville, In. My daughters and I, watched  Mr. Lawrence make it, so I had to buy it. As you can see I am real good about hiding the wiring(lights).. ...not. You know with all the decorations and lights the tree looks wonderful. But the close ups, not so great. LOL.

Using Decorations To Hide Things :):)

This cute little fence& snowman is hiding the humidifier. Yes, it does the trick. Although it says "let it snow", I do not want any snow. That means I am old ,LOL.  The sun was suppose to be out today...I hope it hurries.  Because we had a little snow dusting here.

I Received A Beautiful Gift....

Sandi of Wayside Treasures, sent me a wonderful gift. Totally unexpected, making it a surprise gift. I love it. handmade paper wrapped the box, a S(susie)  charm, a sweet hademade card also. Then the angel wing..so lovely. I will not pack it away after Christmas, but hang it where I can see it everyday. Thank you Sandi.xoxo

Zuzu's Petals.....

This is a gift I received from my daughter Kathy, in 2004. One of the nicest gifts ever. It's the story of Karolyn Grimes'( Zuzu), life in the movies. It is signed by Karolyn . I love this book. 

So Cold And Rainy....

The cat knows what to do today. No  kidding , this cat can sleep. Not a nice day to go out, so we are staying in. Although I did run to town with my daughter Karen, for a quick trip. Hope you are having better weather. :):)

I Finally Did My Decorating...

I have tweaked and tweaked my decorations. Still not so sure about somethings. I like to put out lots of lodge looking throws and pillows. I do love my new sign , from d.reyne's at Horton's.:):)

Some Good News...

My daughter, Lizzy, had her last radiation yesterday. She is on the road to good health. She will get her heart scan, regular check ups and hercepton shots(every 3 weeks). We are thankful for God's blessings. Thank you, to all , who offered prayers for my daughter and our family.xoxo
