Happy Halloween....

This is about all the decorating I did for halloween. I do more fall decor than events. The Hansel and Gretel book , looked scary to me, so I thought it would be great. The picture isn't the greatest though, sorry.

Just Beating The Snow...

Back from our trip. We did leave the town of Bedford, Pa. a little early yesterday morning with about an inch of snow on the ground and snowing harder down the road. But thank goodness we arrived safely back at home. So sorry for all the people of the states that got a horrid snow storm . Their trees were still full of Autumn color. They will need our prayers. Our time in D.C. was so touching, with all the history.

Just Bragging.....

Ted loves to work in wood. This is just a small sample of the things he has truned on the lathe. He handier than a shirt pocket. The little dish looking thing, is a trinket holder.  We make gifts for my sisters, and our children for Christmas every year. I design something and draw it out. We buy the wood . Ted makes the item. If I am lucky, he lets me help with the stain:):)

She's Flipped Her Lid.......

I got this little teapot from the goodwill. It has no lid, but was too cute to pass up. It says Royal Staffordshire Pottery, Wilkinson, England on the bottom. Maybe one day I'll find a lid , but in the mean time I'll use it as a vase.

Breakfast With Gal Pals....

These of some of my classmates. We have been trying to get together about once every month or so. It's always a gab-fest. LOL. Lots of fun catching up with our friends.

At The Apple Orchard.....

Pumpkins a plenty, and many different kinds of apples. We got some fuji and ida reds....I like sweet and Ted likes tart...:):)

Back To The Treasure Mart....

I love the way the pots and pans are displayed in this booth. My weakness is hand embroidered linens. To think how someone took the time to do them, makes me love them.
