What's In Your Wallet????

I think sometimes this is how the kids see my wallet. LOL.  Actually my grandkids do not ask for too many things for Christmas. Thank goodness :):) I treat all the children and grandchildren the same. Now here's the thing...what do I do about  the extra kids coming into our lives.  Fiancees , boyfriends, and girlfriends of the grandkids??? Seems no one wants socks any more. LOL. Just kidding about that. I have thought about gift certificates for an eating place...hey all kids like to eat.
  Everyone, I want to thank you for your prayers and kind words for my sister Brenda. She is staying at my sister Jeanie's for a few days. She will be getting some out patient treatments soon. I will tell more about those later...it's almost space age stuff.  xoxoxo.

Visiting My Sister .....

 The short one on the left is Brenda. She is in the hospital, with back problems. She has osteoporosis . She is getting to the point where she can have fractures ever so easily. I'll be seeing her at the hospital today. Not sure how bad her condition has become. She has been suffering more this year. We could sure use some prayers for her from all you wonderful bloggers. The Tree Is Up....

This is the ornament I have had since I was 16. I really love it, just like me , it's showing some age. I have to make a trip to Hobby-Lobby today. Never know what I may buy. I have been loving everyone mercury glass items.:):) Today is suppose to be warmer than yesterday, here in Indiana. May be able to decorate the porch . xo

Horton's Christmas Open House...

 These photos are last years. But there will be just as many lovely things this year at Horton's. My computer problems are not letting me post any new pictures. So until it's fixed, I'll have to use old photos. This Saturday is the open house. I am going. Think I'll go alone so I can really look.:):) I do have to get my daughter a gift, her birthday is soon.
  I have been enjoying everyone's decorations. I find it is one way I can have it all, by viewing all the great decors of  fellow bloggers. xo

Girls Who Craft....

Savannah and Emma had a nice day of crafting. We made bracelets for their moms, first thing. Then we made Noel Christmas banners, out of paperback book pages , foam board and ribbons. Then we baked sugar cookies and decorated them. Lots of finger licking was going on :):) Sunday morning we made fleece scarves for their dads and moms. So easy, just a long strip of fleece and fringe the ends. Then they made gift tags and wrapped their gifts to take home. It was an extremely busy time, while they were here, because there was baths and head washing and manicures too.. They played well together and were so well behaved. I was proud of them.
 I have an old housecoat of my moms, I kept it when she passed away. The girls took turns wearing it  and asking questions about my mother.  Emma was two and Savannah was four, when my mother passed....so they really have no memory of her. It pleased me that they wanted to know about my mother.
  It's a beautiful day here, cold but sunny.  Enjoy this day . xo

Today Will Be A Crafting Day....

Savannah and Emma are coming to spend the night. We are going to work on a couple crafting projects. We will make gifts for their parents for Christmas. Well I hope we can get them finished. The girls tend to bicker when they have had too much cousin time :):) So I am only keeping them one night. Hope your weekend is great fun. The computer man has not called. I will call them again on Monday. I know my daughter would help me , but she is in the process of moving into her new house this weekend. We all know that will take more than a weekend to move in and put things away. She will be busy till next weekend.
  It's cold here today. Hope we get some sunshine, even the cold is more bearable with sunshine. xo

Well It's A Start...

Now I found a photo I can post. I'll have to see what I can do tomorrow. LOL . We went to town to see the computer guy...his dad was at the desk in the shop.....tons of computers all over the floor...I said "hey do you ever fix anything?" I would almost swear I saw this same pile of dusty old computers last year. The old fellow says, I don't do anything but take info, my son will call you. He has not called yet and that was noon. I am going to ask him to make a house call. :):)
