This is the snow on Sunday. Here's a nice cold seat.I always try to clear the porch of snow...it was just too much to keep up.
I did get the walk to the shop shoveled. Took 4 shifts. LOL. I do the layering shoveling. Just little scoops of the fluffy snow, not so heavy...more exercise that way also.
Here's Sunday's sunshine. After all the snow, the skies cleared somewhat ,and the sun was there for about 5 minutes as the clouds on the horizon were too thick.
This was yesterday (Monday) after ted cleared the drive with the snow blower. He had to do both drives this time.Too much snow for me.
I love the blue skies. Today we have black ice, more ice coming...at noon rain and it will be above freezing. Hopefully no floods.
Yesterday our family meet at the funeral home to make plans for our brother's funeral. His sons did fine . They chose the casket, helped with the obit., have his clothes ready. They are 24 and 26. This was hard for these young men. But I think they did very well. The family was there for them . Which gave them a confidence boost.
It's been an exhausting time. Well it feels that way to me. I am so grateful for my blogging family. You have touched my heart with all your kind words and prayers. I wanted all of you to know, to me you matter. Kindness always matters. XO
Hi Susie, I know what difficult days these are for you and your family. I know your nephews are thankful for the love and support from you. I continue to remember you all in prayer. May God bless and strengthen you.ReplyDelete
Hi Mildred, Thank you for the blessing. Hope you are doing well. It's not long till spring, I am ready for a break from the stress of this winter. xoxo,SusieDelete
Praying for your family and you,Susie, during this time of grief. The snow is pretty, we had 72 degrees yesterday.ReplyDelete
Thank you so much Sylvia, your prayers do help. Wow, 72 sounds good to me today as my windows now have ice on them. Bless you, xoxo,SusieDelete

Oh thank you...I think God test our strength at times...but he does see us through it. Blessings to you, xoxo,SusieDelete
So glad your nephews had your family around to give them the support they needed to make these final decisions for your brother. May he rest in peace and praying the boys remember all the good memories of their dad as they go through the grief process. Prayers for all of you.
We are getting that same freezing rain and snow mix up here today. Hopefully by the week end we will start to warm up to normal temps for this time of year. It would be nice to see Spring this year. Good thoughts coming your way today.
Hi Kris, I have salted our walk and steps...yikes, it's scary slick out there. Praying for anyone who has to be out in this. Oh I am hoping we have a nice pleasant spring...not jump right into hot weather, once all this nasty stuff leaves. LOL Thank you for all your prayers, it means so much. xoxo,SusieDelete
Oh Susie..Sorry to hear of your brothers passing..I know it's a difficult time for everyone..My thoughts are with you..ReplyDelete
Thank you Missy. It makes the pain of loss somewhat less sharp with kind friends. Bless you, xoxo,SusieDelete

I am glad your nephews are handling things okay, Susie It is NEVER easy to do this sort of thing. That is young to lose a dad.Delete
The snow is so awful this year. I am so ready to not see any of it anymore. xo Diana
Diana, This is tough on all of us...but for those two young men ...their loss has not sunk in fully yet...I pray for them. It will be heart breaking. I am so thankful for everyone's prayers and well wishes. Blessings, xoxo,SusieDelete
just catching up with you today, reading about your sadness and the happiness of that baby girl. I hope we will get lots of reports about Miss Layla.Delete
Oh, what a young age to make arrangements for their dad. Will be keeping them and your family in my prayers as you go through the next few weeks. They are so blessed to have you beside them. I lost mom at 32 and thought that was young, but in the 20s, just wow.ReplyDelete
Next week we will in the 50s, its the next couple of days that are going to be hard to get through here. We do have the same weather.
Tete, Losing parents when you are young is difficult...Little ones would be even worse. All of us were grown when we lost mommy and daddy...it still hurts. I guess there's no "Good" age, for anyone. Today feels like a heat wave compared to the past couple weeks....Tomorrow and Friday cold again ...then dear Tete, we may have 40's.:):) That sounds so good to me. xoxo,SusieDelete
Wishing for a quick Spring for you. You have my prayers, very strong ones. xx
Thank Kay, this week we all need your strong prayers...they do help us. Hope you are getting outside to enjoy your area. xoxo,SusieDelete
Susie, I hope that Spring comes to you soon. We finally got some snow the last couple of days. We really needed it. In church Sunday our leaders counseled us to pray for those that are having so much snow.ReplyDelete
Jann, Glad you got snow...I knew it had snowed near SLC...because my grandson was going skiing for his birthday. Bless you, xoxo,SusieDelete
I'm sure you are exhausted with the funeral arrangements, Susie. That's never an easy thing. Your snow is so beautiful. It has been sunny here and I can feel that spring in on the way. But I never tire of looking at your snow, it's so amazing.ReplyDelete
