This desk/dresser is in the window at Horton's. I loved the idea of rustic little boards bradded to the front of the drawers.
There's some raw cotton wreaths. I love these, you could add things to them, for various seasons.
I liked the basket that's holding these giant clothes pins. These pins are about 4 inches long.
This is how they are being used, to hold cards or pictures. This would be so cute in the laundry room.
Lots of French wired ribbons. These are ticking striped.
Plenty of those 30x 30 kitchen towels. I think they are cute as a center cloth over your regular table cloths.
Here's a setting of melmac dishes. A basket of salt and pepper shakers. I just caught the edge of a basket of paper napkins.
One of my favorite things for displaying is the wonderful plaid picnic pieces.
A zip open cooler holding a nice autumn bouquet of leaves and flowers. Baskets , wire and wicker. Glass jar containers. So many cute ideas for hold fall displays.
I love the look of this big fall bouquet sitting in front of this board. I would call this a bread board , but I am not sure that's right. It's the old brick wall that helps make this a good look .
I'll have to go back to Horton's once they have all their store arranged for the Autumn Market. Mrs. Horton is so kind about letting me take photos.
Wishing all of you a great day. XO
I have some plaid but never thought of it for fall but it looks good. Love you taking us along with you to Horton's! Have a great day!ReplyDelete

Kris, Every time I go to Horton's I think of you. That little corner kitchen they have set up is adorable. I love the big old fashioned cook stove they have in there and that old sink. Wishing you a great day and weekend. xoxo,SusieDelete
I love those red plaid picnic pieces. How wonderful that you got to see some of the goodies for Fall at Horton's. Do you remember the red plaid lunch boxes and thermoses? They were so Fall looking. I used to take a lunch bag to school, but then my kids sometimes had the cute lunch boxes that came out that year. aahh, such sweet memories, Susie.ReplyDelete
Sheri, I do remember those lunch boxes. My daughter still has her Donnie Osmond lunch box. :):) I can remember my father's black lunch box that was rounded over the top. ...he took his lunches to work, he was a carpenter. Blessings for a fabuos holiday weekend. Love you, SusieDelete

What a neat place to visit! I love stores like that.ReplyDelete
Hi Brenda, It gets crowded on their Market Days...but then you can go in many times and be the only one there. That 's easy shopping then. Blessings, xoxo,SusieDelete
Fall is just around the corner, possibly my favorite season. Hopefully we will take a trip or two when the colors start changing. Vermont is a likely spot as I have only been there once.ReplyDelete
Paul, I love fall also. When it gets chillier and closer to Halloween..I think of my daughters and I hurrying to finish doing dishes and going the block and half to my mom's house. We would visit and run like the dickens to get back home, so they could get ready for school the next day, lay out clothes, bath, do homework. I miss those times....and wonder now did I enjoy them to the fullest, I pray I did. Blessings, xoxo,SusieReplyDelete
p.s. I went to Ben and Jerry's ice cream plant in Vermont.
Boy, what lovely display's! Each has its own uniqueness! That cotton wreath, is like non other that I've seen. Plaid, oh yes my favorite too!ReplyDelete
