This is my new Christmas ornament....good old Charlie Brown. :):)
Lots of restaurant certificates. Oh boy, Ted and I will enjoy using these.
My girls know I love to write cards and letters...so cards and stamps are very nice to get.
Oh yes, they also know that we love our coffee here. So a new cup, and lots of coffees . I was gifted some international coffees too. You know I love those.
Grandmothers get candles, lotions and soaps too. :):) I am so thankful that my children know I like to buy my own perfumes.
New scarves and gloves too. Plus more things I didn't get pictures to show.
More note cards. Love them, can't wait to write thank you notes to all my children.
Nail files and ink pens...oh the pens came with puzzle books. LOL
Crazy snack foods for Ted. He likes all kind of flavored peanuts . A Package of Hickory Farms, sausages and cheeses. Home made banana bread and chex mixes.
More food certs. ....we enjoyed all the things the children gave us. I can't even remember right now all we received....Ted put his things away as soon as he got home on Christmas day. What a good fellow. not me, I like to look at everything for a day , at least. :):)
Hoping all of you are safe. Let's pray for everyone who went thru bad weather and hard times this holiday. Please be safe. XO
Hahaaaaa Charlie Brown is great. Love this ideaReplyDelete
Kuni, I love my new Charlie Brown...My daughter Liz got that for me. Hope you had a good Christmas dear. xoxo,SusieDelete
Lucky you!! Love the Charlie Brown ornament.ReplyDelete
Thank you. I have many ornaments my daughter Liz has bought me. She must have thought I need Charlie. :):) Blessings, xoxo,SusieDelete
You are spoiled :)ReplyDelete
All those goodies, you'll have so much fun enjoying them throughout the year.
Love that little Charlie Brown ornament, he's got a cheeky smile :)
Jo, I was a bit embarrassed unwrapping so much. I know there's nothing I need. The only thing I am in want of ...is time with the kids. But I love my coffees, note papers and really everything the children gave me. I am spoiled and blessed. LOL. Bless you, xoxo,SusieDelete
Looks like you had a fun Christmas. Those are the best presents to get. Now on to the New Year, right.ReplyDelete
Debby, You know we reach an age...where there's nothing we need. I do love time with the kids more than anything else. But as I drink my coffees and write my cards I will think of the children and know I am blessed. Hope you had a good holiday. I know it wasn't as you would have liked...having just moved and the loss of your MIL. Hugs to you and your Mr. xoxo,SusieDelete
such perfect gifts, and that Charlie Brown is adorable,ReplyDelete
Hi Laurie, I love this Charlie Brown ornament. Makes me smile. Hope all of you are well and doing fine. We are good here...a bit tired of gray skies and rain...I'd like a day with some sun. LOL. Blessings, xoxo,SusieDelete
Lovely gifts, thank you for sharing them. Yes, the weather has been horrid in so many places. It is quite a concern for too many.ReplyDelete
Vee, We have to keep others in our thoughts. This weather pattern has been scary. We do not need any more .Hope you are doing well. Bless you, xoxo,SusieDelete
Nice haul Susie! Let's see, Dunkin Donuts...I think I have heard of them. Truly they are all over the place around here. I could drive to 4 of them in 5 minutes from my house and that's not counting the whole city. Good coffee, poor donuts.ReplyDelete
Boston Boy, When we were on a trip in your area...I couldn't believe the dunkin donuts stores. I had only ever had their coffee once before it hit the store shelves. It's good. Hope you get to enjoy a cup once in awhile. I like donuts...but rarely eat them. LOL. Hope you are ready for a new year...how many more days till the Vineyard?:):) Blessings, xoxo,SusieDelete
Looks like you had a very nice Christmas! Lots of gifts that you can use. I love new pens, too. It's always great to find a pen that writes really nicely. -JennReplyDelete
Jenn, I hate when I get a pen and it stops writing before I am finished with my letter. LOL. Just piddly , I know, but GRRR. You know at my age, there's not much left that I need or want. So food gift cards rate high on my list. :) Blessings, xoxo,SusieDelete
Susie, that Charlie Brown ornament is too cute. Red Lobster - one of my favorite places to eat! You know, I've never tried Dunkin' Donut coffee before, but I heard it was good. They just put one in right down the street. I bet Ted loved all the snack foods. You received so many sweet gifts from your family, Susie.ReplyDelete
I hope the new year is a good one for me and you. You are such a dear blog friend to me.
Sheri, I think the dunkin donuts started on the east coast. You'll have to try it out. Ted and I love to get the eating out gift cards. :):) Really what do we need at our age. Hope we can all have a new year of good health and family time. Blessings to you and your family, love you, SusieDelete
Susie, I tried the Dunkin' Donuts coffee today and a chocolate donut! I thought it was pretty good, but I have to say that Starbucks is still my favorite. Do you have a Starbucks nearby? If you ever go there, try the Café Americano. It's not too strong, and that's why I like it.Delete
Have a blessed week, Susie.
Sheri, I should have told you this...I never drink just one brand of coffee...I always mix ours in a big airtight plastic container.. I use Seattle's Best, Dunkin Donuts, Marsh Grocery Brand, and Starbucks...any kind. I just mix them Even the McD brand. Ted and I use to drive 40 miles and buy a specialty mix that a local coffee shop use to sell. No More we just mix every brand we buys or get together. I do think some coffee are way too strong. Bless you, love, SusieDelete
Love your Charlie Brown ornament. Too adorable. You got some great gifts Susie. Glad you had a wonderful Christmas. Enjoy this week as we head on down to the new year.ReplyDelete
Kris, I'll think of my g.g.daughter Layla's little round head whenever I see this ornament.:) She is so precious. Blessings, xoxo,SusieDelete
I love that you posted your gifts. The Charlie Brown ornaments made me smile big time. Gift certificates are the best. And anything to mail the real deal makes me say YAY!!ReplyDelete
Love to you, Susie---you are the best in my blog world ! :)
Blondie, You touched my heart. You are so kind. Ted and I really need, nor want for much of anything. So eating out cert. are great. I would rather have a gift I can use ...I never have to return anything, oh and that makes me so happy. Blessings for a new year of family time. I love you too sweet Blondie girl. xoxo,SusieDelete
Lots of great gifts...we were blessed with restaurant gift cards, too...and we love those.ReplyDelete
So glad u had a good Christmas....
BJ, We put the certificates in the glove compartment and when we are out and about...if we decide to eat, we have them ready. I think for people my age it's the best gift...store cards and food cards, Ted and I have more clothes than we will ever wear out, shoes too, everything to run a household..we truly are need of nothing. But hey, we are always going to have to eat. LOL. Blessings, xoxo,SusieDelete
Love the Charlie Brown ornament! lol. You sure got a lot of great gifts this year, Susie! I really like everything you were gifted with. I was blessed with lots of neat presents too. Our kids sure do know what we like, don't they?! The wind is blowing in quite a storm here tonight! Stay warm and safe, dear one.ReplyDelete
Lots of love to you, sweetie.
Debbie, One daughter said we were hard to buy for...I said a gift cert. to eat out or Walmart...anything like that is a perfect gift for a couple of old folks who have everything.LOL. She's the one who gave us Cracker Barrel cert. and stamps/cards. She also gave ted a golf shirt. I really just want the time with my children and grands, more than anything else in this world. Funny how our wants change thru the years. Hope you do not have real bad weather. We are flooding in the fields...praying it does not get any worse around here. Be careful when going out. Bless you, xoxo, Love you dear friend, SusieDelete
Susie, we must be twins. I love all the things that you received! We love a good cup of coffee on special occasions/holidays. Pretty notecards, too. I like to just sit and look at my gifts too!ReplyDelete
Mildred, My twins...Liz is two minute older than Karen and she lets her know most times. LOL. So I am the old twin, way old twin...if you and I are twins. LOL. I loved that. You made me smile and think , it's nice to have other sisters, I have not meet. Some times in the afternoon, if I am wanting something sweet...I'll have a cup of French Vanilla international coffee. My Lizzy gets those for me . Blessings and hugs to you sister. xoxo, love, SusieDelete
It looks as though Santa was very good to be through Susie. You won't have to cook for a while. Have a blessed new year!ReplyDelete
Missy, I like to cook when we can cook on the grill and when it's so nasty winter, I can't go anywhere...then cooking is fun. I like to do lots of one pot meals too. My fancy , big meal cooking days are over. Hope you are doing well and not having nasty weather. I know Mollie likes to be outside walking. :):) Blessings, xoxo,SusieDelete
You two made out like BANDITS!!!!ReplyDelete
All great gifts!!! I need to get busy with my thank you notes while I can still remember! I'm going to help the quads 'write' theirs tomorrow!! I think color pages will be a part of their notes!!!
Linda, I like to get the thank you cards out as soon as possible....while it's all fresh in my memory. :):) My kids and grands are good about thanking everyone..that makes me feel like I thought my girls something in manners. LOL. Hope you and LD are well and safe. Bless you both, love, SusieDelete
Dear Susie, You certainly got some wonderful gifts-you deserve them. I always love seeing the blessings other receive. Wishing the best of New Year's-with health, happiness and love.ReplyDelete
