My daughter Liz holding her grandson Max. We are so in love with him.
I finally get to hold him . He was alert and looked right at me....so I know he loves me just as I do him.
He has some nice hair already. Blue eyes, weighs 7 lb 11 oz. 20 inches .long. He is adorable. I held him a good long time and I love every minute of it.
Look who came to see her new cousin. It's Laya Rose. Remember she was born at the end of February. I was amazed at how excited she seemed. She was pumping her legs while I held her.
Emma Pooh was sitting in the rocking chair in Max's nursery. I laughed, he already had toys.
Lynzie and Mark did a fine job getting the baby's nursery together. They had made a changing table of an old dresser. The room is in whites, grays, and this turquoise.
Thought I would show their Christmas three also. They had an island honeymoon, so their tree is all fish , shells, light houses. A total beach themed tree.
Hope you enjoyed seeing my family. My great grandson and great granddaughter too. I am so blessed. Can't wait to hold the babies again. :):)
I am having my sister over for lunch today. we will watch our soap opera, the Young and Restless. :):) Wishing all of you a wonderful day. XO

Congratulations!!! I have trouble thinking of you as a Great Grandma! Enjoy Y&R with your sister...I am not liking the story lines these days.ReplyDelete
Thank you Ann. Oh you would fit right in with my sister and I today. We end up having a big gripe fest about how the Y&R story lines are going. They leave too may things not even answered and run on to something new. We hate that. LOL. Blessings, xoxo,SusieDelete
Lovely little boy, you don't look old enough to be a great grandmother.ReplyDelete
Thank you Janet..you are so kind. I love little Max's blue eyes looking at me. Blessings, xoxo,SusieDelete
I can't imagine you a great-grandma. The babies are just precious! I love holding babies. Enjoy your time with your sister.ReplyDelete
Kathy, I sure never dreamed I would be so old and have so many grands and such...but oh boy it's something good about getting older. Blessings, xoxo,SusieDelete
Good Morning Susie, Such an adorable bundle of joy you are holding in the picture. Children, grand children, even great grandchildren keep us young. We have the enjoyment of watching them grow. Your friendship means a lot to me and I appreciate your stopping by my blog. Hugs and Prayers from Your Missouri Friend ShirleyReplyDelete
Shirley, I know that I love each child that comes into my life. I feel so blessed to see this baby. But I am having a hard time realizing his mom is my little granddaughter...all grown up. Why does time have to fly by ? Shirley, I am thankful for your sweet friendship also. I think how you are always kind in your comments..life is so short we need to pass our kindnesses along to others. I feel blessed. So I wish you blessings too, xoxo,SusieDelete
Seriously-you can't possibly be old enough to have a great grandson! What a cutie he is though. I am blessed with 11 grands, the oldest being 14 and can't even begin to think about them being adults. So glad you got some special time with the family.ReplyDelete
Christmas blessings to you!
Noreen..have I told you how funny and sweet you are? :) Bless you. I never once dreamed of being this old with a whole little universe of children I helped create. LOL. But I call myself blessed. Wishing you blessings, xoxo,SusieDelete
Oh he is just so handsome. I can tell that everyone is in love and no wonder. He sure has some nice digs. Little Laya is evidence that they do grow fast!ReplyDelete
Vee, Our lives have wings...it can absolutely fly by at times. I hope I get to hold the babies and love on them during the holidays. Layla is crawling and pulling up ..scary, she'll be graduating soon. LOL. Blessings, xoxo,SusieDelete
It is so nice to see photos of you and all your family. The baby is so precious. What a wonderful Christmas blessing!ReplyDelete
Their tree sounds very special; I know they will always treasure those ornaments.
Hope you and your sister had a great afternoon.
Mildred, That is exactly how I feel...that I have been blessed. I know my daughter Liz feels the same way. I will get to be around the babies again soon at Christmas. Wish it could be more. They just grow so fast...look at Layla how quickly it seems she has grown. Bless you dear, xoxo,SusieDelete
I can't believe that your daughter is a grandmother and you a great. They are adorable.ReplyDelete
Give the baby back to Sage and Nicholas already.
Debby, Thank you. Oh my goodness girl...that Y&R stolen baby line is making us nuts. The Y&R needs some new story lines. They have worn some of them out..I mean out. But it gives my sister and I something to watch together. We used to have to work for many of the years that Y&R was on and missed so much. Blessings, xoxo,SusieDelete
Oh how precious! Adorable! The baby's room is beautiful as well as the family room. Congratulations.ReplyDelete
Thank you Bonnie. I know I am not going to get to be around the babies as much as I would like...so I am enjoying every moment that I can be near them. Blessings, xoxo,SusieDelete

Kris, You know Max has that sweet new baby smell and he's so soft...I just want to be with him as much as possible. Look how much Layla had grown in just over nine months. Too fast for me...makes my head spin., Blessings to you and Terry. xoxo,SusieDelete

Hi Karen, Thanks for visiting to see our new baby. Yes, we feel blessed to welcome Max into the world. Blessings to you, xoxo,SusieDelete
Max is so precious, Susie. This is a great picture of you and him. You look so cute and young in your red top. Layla Rose is darling too. The nursery is nice in turquoise, whites, and greys - turquoise is one of my favorite colors to decorate.ReplyDelete
So glad you got to see the little ones in your family, Susie.
Sheri, Glad you like Max's room. It's small but just right for the things one needs. He's a little bundle of sweetness.:) I just could hold him for hours. Blessings, love, SusieDelete
Hi Max! Welcome to the world!!!ReplyDelete
Susie, I think he's trying to decide what he thinks about life in that first picture of you holding him!
Did you make it to Horton's? I was a little disappointed.
Well I just went back through the posts I've missed. You did go! And I never thought about everything being picked over. My cousin was coming over from Logansport and we were to meet at 10:00. Because of the fog, we waited until 11:00 to leave. We went to Patti Becks first.....so, I'm sure it was picked over by the time we got there, which was 2ish....We stopped for lunch first too.ReplyDelete
Cindy, Glad you got to see our new baby. He's so sweet, we all want take turns holding him.Delete
I hate that the fog made last Saturday hard to get anywhere. I thought that Horton's didn't have near what they had the "earlier Christmas " market. There were things happening in the mini mall too..but crowded. I am sure the Spring market will be better. Glad you had a fun day with your friends in spite of the fog. Blessings, xoxo,Susie
I forgot about the earlier market too Susie. I bet they just ran out of stuff. I've been ridiculously busy. Can't hardly stand it. I didn't get to do much "fun" shopping this year. oh well.....the estate is almost finished (that I'm executor of....and we are moving along on the house quickly now) so hopefully I'll have more time for fun next year.Delete
Congratulations to your whole family! I can just imagine that "brand new baby" feeling of holding a sweet little warm bundle!! I like how they made a change table, too. -JennReplyDelete
Hi Jenn, Thank you for your nice comment. Yes, I am loving that sweet new baby. Can't be with them as much as I would like. Hope you are doing well and enjoying the wonderful season. Blessings, xoxo,SusieDelete
Congratulations Susie on that new Great grandson he looks adorable .. Glad you also got to see your other Great. What s fun she! (You look so pretty!)ReplyDelete
Thank you Gert, you are so kind. I enjoyed every moment holding Max and the bit of time I had with Layla...she's grown so much since I saw her last. Blessings, xoxo,SusieDelete
