Here's Max !!!!

My daughter Liz holding her grandson Max. We are so in love with him.
I finally get to hold him . He was alert and looked right at me....so I know he loves me just as I do him.
He has some nice hair already. Blue eyes, weighs 7 lb 11 oz. 20 inches .long. He is adorable. I held him a good long time and I love every minute of it.
Look who came  to see her new cousin. It's Laya Rose. Remember she was born at the end of February. I was amazed at how excited she seemed. She was pumping her legs while I held her.
Emma Pooh was sitting in the rocking chair in Max's nursery.  I laughed, he already had toys.
Lynzie and Mark did a fine job getting the baby's  nursery together.  They had made a changing table of an old dresser. The room is in whites, grays, and this turquoise.
Thought I would show  their Christmas three also.  They had an island honeymoon, so their tree is all fish , shells, light houses. A total beach themed tree.
Hope you enjoyed seeing my family. My great grandson and great granddaughter too. I am so blessed. Can't wait to hold the babies again. :):)
I am having my sister over for lunch today. we will watch our soap opera, the Young and Restless. :):)  Wishing all of you a wonderful day. XO

    1. Thank you Ann. Oh you would fit right in with my sister and I today. We end up having a big gripe fest about how the Y&R story lines are going. They leave too may things not even answered and run on to something new. We hate that. LOL. Blessings, xoxo,Susie

    1. Shirley, I know that I love each child that comes into my life. I feel so blessed to see this baby. But I am having a hard time realizing his mom is my little granddaughter...all grown up. Why does time have to fly by ? Shirley, I am thankful for your sweet friendship also. I think how you are always kind in your comments..life is so short we need to pass our kindnesses along to others. I feel blessed. So I wish you blessings too, xoxo,Susie

  8. Seriously-you can't possibly be old enough to have a great grandson! What a cutie he is though. I am blessed with 11 grands, the oldest being 14 and can't even begin to think about them being adults. So glad you got some special time with the family.
    Christmas blessings to you!

    1. Debby, Thank you. Oh my goodness girl...that Y&R stolen baby line is making us nuts. The Y&R needs some new story lines. They have worn some of them out..I mean out. But it gives my sister and I something to watch together. We used to have to work for many of the years that Y&R was on and missed so much. Blessings, xoxo,Susie

  21. Max is so precious, Susie. This is a great picture of you and him. You look so cute and young in your red top. Layla Rose is darling too. The nursery is nice in turquoise, whites, and greys - turquoise is one of my favorite colors to decorate.

So glad you got to see the little ones in your family, Susie.

  22. Hi Max! Welcome to the world!!!
Susie, I think he's trying to decide what he thinks about life in that first picture of you holding him!
Did you make it to Horton's? I was a little disappointed.

  23. Well I just went back through the posts I've missed. You did go! And I never thought about everything being picked over. My cousin was coming over from Logansport and we were to meet at 10:00. Because of the fog, we waited until 11:00 to leave. We went to Patti Becks first.....so, I'm sure it was picked over by the time we got there, which was 2ish....We stopped for lunch first too.

I hate that the fog made last Saturday hard to get anywhere. I thought that Horton's didn't have near what they had the "earlier Christmas " market. There were things happening in the mini mall too..but crowded. I am sure the Spring market will be better. Glad you had a fun day with your friends in spite of the fog. Blessings, xoxo,Susie

    2. I forgot about the earlier market too Susie. I bet they just ran out of stuff. I've been ridiculously busy. Can't hardly stand it. I didn't get to do much "fun" shopping this year. oh well.....the estate is almost finished (that I'm executor of....and we are moving along on the house quickly now) so hopefully I'll have more time for fun next year.
