Some Great Weather & Fun....

Look at this sky....low humidity, super clear skies, 74 degrees yesterday.
The mums are so full and crowding each other. I like this one.
I like to mix the colors together for a nice bouquet.
I have two of these orange colored mums and they are bold in color.
As you can see I absolutely need to thin these mums out more. I did in early spring, but you sure can't tell it.

Our grandson  Brock, his daughter Layla on Emma's shoulders, Me and Papaw Teddy Bear.
We had taken our daybed to Brock's  on Sunday.  He was getting Layla  a big girl bed now.....so we gave them the daybed...that way when Emma goes over to visit she can sleep on the trundle part in Layla's room. Emma's a wonderful aunty to Layla...she can  make her laugh. She plays with the stuffed animals to get Layla playing also.
Hope everyone is having good weather and  some fall beauty.  Please be kind . XO

  1. Yep, the weather has been so nice the last couple of days, but not so much today! I can't tell if I just heard thunder or a low flying jet! Your Mums are beautiful. Ours are not looking so good. Nice looking family Susie.

    1. Hi Cindy, It's raining here and rather dark out...I do not like that. I am hoping for sunshine this afternoon. My mums are too tall and want to collapse. Not so pretty then. I think by them being so crowded it keeps them up longer. Thank for the nice comment. I do love my grandkids. Layla is my g.g.daughter. :) Blessings, hope you guys are doing well. xoxo, Susie

  2. I just discovered your lovely website and became a Follower! Love all the beautiful flowers you posted! Plus, you have a beautiful family, too!

I also noticed your favorite movie picks listed on the left column! I absolutely love Emma and Pride & Prejudice, too! Have you seen the PBS Masterpiece version of Emma, too? While I, too, LOVE the Gwyneth version, this one is truly fantastic, as well.

I am so delighted to have discovered your site, and if you have a minute or two, you are welcome to come and stop by mine. Here's the address... itsawonderfulmovie.com

    1. Thank you racheld. The children were so appreciative of the daybed...it just did our hearts good to help them out. Emma promised to come during fall break and spend an evening with papaw and me. I miss her...did you see she is as tall as I am now. Time flies when we long for it to slow down. 4. It's great weather here too, temperatures in the 60s and 70s. We are supposed to get rain for the next 10 days. All those weeks without rain and now the weather is making up for it. I can't complain because we need it.

Your mums are just lovely. I had mums for years and then one year they just did not come back.

Your grands and great are so cute. I can't believe Layla is big enough for a big girl bed. How time flies!

    Have a good day!

  5. How fun for Layla to get a big girl's bed now. Such sweet pictures of her. Are those daisies, Susie? They are so pretty, and remind me of my dear mom. Emma is going to be a wonderful aunt, and she makes me smile every time I see pics of her. :)

    1. Sheri, My daughter Liz sent me a picture of Layla asleep in her new bed with her new Cinderella covers...so cute, I almost cried. Brock was so very thankful for the bed and helped Ted to put it together. Do you see how tall Emma has grown, she's tall as me. Breaks my heart. If only time could slow down. Blessings, love, xoxo, Susie

I saw the faces of your grands in one of your last blogs and I could tell they looked like you. That's a good feeling. I always say the ones of mine who have good eyebrows favor me. LOL.
