Thanks , Ouch , Aww........

Sending out thanks to all our vets. Love you and appreciate you so much. This was in the morning paper. :):)
I went to the endodontist yesterday. You know for that 3-D xray.  Then 3 more xrays, on another tooth.....am I glowing in the dark...geez. The Dentist was kind and gentle, his assistant so sweet. But , I was stressed to the max. The Dentist did a root canal on a molar that I had a root canal on about 4 or 5 years ago. The tooth that has been sensitive from day one of that root canal.
Then the dentist tells me , "If this doesn't take care of that problem,we may have to do a surgery along the gum"   I am thinking, "Are you kidding me, do I look like Ms. Money Banks. ?"  Thursday's  procedure cost me 1,108. dollars and I got this little bag of tooth care products. Mind you this is on top of 1300 for the original root canal....which thankfully my insurance paid most of it. I hope my insurance comes thru for me this time too. I will know in two weeks if the sensitivity eases up.
After the stress of the whole day. I caught the setting sun.  It was shining thru  a dragonfly garden pick. So my day ended  with a smile from above. I am grateful.
Later today, I am going to Horton's in town....I missed their Christmas Open House last Saturday.  WAAA.  I'll get some photos. :):) Wishing all a wonderful weekend,  XO

    1. Hi Kris, I was happy to be done at the dentist . Just thinking of more appts...in the offing. I have to go to my town dentist to get a permanent filling in the tooth the endodontist drilled yesterday....why could he not put a filling in then? I think it's ways of them milking the insurance companies too. Makes me crazy at times. Hope your weekend is a good one also. I think we will rake again tomorrow hopefully for the last time this year. LOL. Blessings, xoxo, Susie

    1. Sylvia, My teeth look good but for the money they should be looking even better. LOL. I just tense up when I have to go. I am hoping I do well too. Blessings for a great weekend, xoxo, Susie

  3. Accckkk...I have been putting off some dental work for this very reason. It is pain in lots of places — the mouth, the pocketbook, and the keister. Saying a prayer that all will be well without any further attention.

    1. Vee, With all the problems I am having....I wonder, "Why am I getting x-rays and cleanings every six months and still having problems...is it the money? " Please do not wait too long honey...they can give you plenty of numbing shots. Never look at the needles. Blessings for a fun weekend, xoxo, Susie

    1. Laurie, I keep thinking I am paying so much for teeth that I will lose in a year or so. Makes me nuts. This is the root canal I should have had 2 years ago...possibly.So I am hoping the sensitivity will go away soon. Blessings to all at your house for a great weekend, xoxo, Susie

    1. Tete, I swear I could have the best set of dentures around with the money I have put out on my teeth. Oh yes, I missed the Horton's open house. I did go there this afternoon and get some photos. I think by Christmas there will be so much more there. I'll show pics tomorrow. Blessings for a good evening there. xoxo, Susie

  7. So sorry you are having so much trouble with that tooth. I hope this is the end of it for you. Dentists can be so expensive if you don't have insurance. Feel better.

  8. Sometimes it is good to see a sunset on a harrowing, miserable day. Dental work is SO expensive! We have dental insurance but it doesn't cover much. Hope your procedure fixes the problem.

Hope you have a great weekend, Susie. xo Diana

  10. I am sorry about your tooth problems. I certainly can relate. My last experience I had a couple of years ago caused me to re-think my future plans. If it isn't a front tooth, I will let them pull it. Our dental insurance isn't that great. I hope it works out for you.

    1. Nonnie, I have made up my mind to have it oulled before going thru more procedures and not getting relief. I will wait the two weeks the dentist asked me to. It's a molar. Some times my insurance pays well and other times I am amazed at what I have to pay. I carry cobra insurance and I don't dare let it go, not with my teeth. :) I was stressed so badly. It's the fear of things working out right. Blessings to you for a great weekend, xoxo, Susie

  13. A root canal, Yikes! I hope you are healing from your day at the dentist, Susie. And I do hope that you don't have to have surgery along the way. You saw a beautiful sunset that day to make up for having to go to the dentist. I think maybe that sunset was meant just for you. :)
