Let The Wild Rumpus Start....

This is the invitation to Max's birthday party.....but there will be NO wild rumpus.  :(    Max and his daddy both have the tummy bug. The party has been canceled till further notice.
Lynzie and Mark  had these cute invitations made. It says , Our king of all things wild is turning one.  Gee that is hard to believe.
I have some gifts for the birthday boy.
I wanted to make a gold crown for his card and my paint pen was empty so I used my nail polish.  Max may not be impressed when he gets these gifts...it's clothes. LOL
Here is our little birthday boy and his faithful companion , Madison the cocker spaniel.  They have become the best of buddies.
So tomorrow, instead of a birthday party, I will be meeting all my daughters for lunch. They are going to get together to shop. I know that's something I do not want to do and oh my feet would not be happy, so I will just have lunch when they are ready for a break.
Wishing all a great weekend. XO

    1. Oh Janet, so funny. I remember reading it to my children so many, many years ago. Since Lynzie's son is named Max, they thought it would be fun to have his birthday party in the wild things theme. So far Max is not such a wild thing, thankfully. Blessings, xoxo, Susie

    1. Cindy, I hate when children are sick. I would like for no one to be sick.....but little ones can tell what is wrong or how they feel. I just happy that his mommy is a nurse. Even tho, I told her to keep them hydrated. Nana can't help herself. LOL. Hope you have fun at Horton's, I might try to get there later. Blessings, xoxo, Susie

  13. Susie ~ so apologize for not visiting you for such a long time, but your faithfulness to my blog has told you all the deaths we experienced over the past months. I love your little darling with his companion. I had a black cocker spaniel from the time I was 5 to 17. His name was Sambo. Best dog ever.

    1. Wanda, I know it's a busy time at this time of year....then to lose so many of your friends..I understand.I just hope things can settle down for you. Speaking of black spanials...my guardian angel had two of them she called them Brendo and Toby. Once they passed she never got any more. But I love walking them for her. Blessings, xoxo, Susie

I know what you mean about your feet hurting when walking too long. I've been wanting to go to the mall for Christmas shopping, but don't know how far my feet will go haha.
