Who Doesn't Love Santa ????

Here's a picture of Emma when she was a chunky monkey Santa loving baby. :)  This Santa might be real.
Here he is again with Emma. She seems comfy sitting on his lap..but I notice a lollipop, well that could be why.
My sister Pam and I know this is a Santa helper...but he smelled so good.  We were being a bit naughty. LOL
Here's a Santa that is actually Father Christmas. My daughter Kathy made this for me and also made three more for her sisters. We all still have them. I should have fluffed his beard. :):)
Here's a quick craft idea. Emma  made a few of these felt fridge magnet snowmen , one   holiday here . I still get this one out and think of her.
This is a bench of Teddy Bears and Christmas decorations.  Our time is running short . The nasty weather is putting a crimp in shopping. I am happy I have most of my holiday prep finished. You know there is always something that you'll remember at the last minute.
Colder than a  tin T-shirt  here. We have had a continuous fire going in the fireplace.  The humidifier running also. I have done some reading, writing and everyday chores while it's so bad outside.
Wishing all a great Sunday. Be careful out there. XO

  1. Good Sunday Morning Susie. It is soooo cold here too. At least the sun came out today. Yikes we are in the arctic blast for sure. Stay warm. I have all my stuff done to stay home today too. Enjoy this week as we head on down to the big day. The Santa pics are so adorable.
    Merry Christmas.

    1. Nonnie, I hope we can all get a bit warmer weather before Christmas day. We luck out today no real wind to speak of. But our road is a sheet of ice...not melting today either. The sun is shining most the day. Love that. Stay warm and safe. Blessings to all, xoxo, Susie

  3. Susie, that is the cutest picture of you and your sister next to Santa. It reminds me of the one I have with my best friend many moons ago (maybe I'll post it, do I have time? haha). Love this snowman fridge magnet that Emma made. I wonder how old she? And the Father Christmas your daughter made is a treasure. I can see why you still have him. :)

    1. Sheri, yes show your Santa photos. I think Emma was 7 or 8 when she made the magnets. She is 12 now and seems almost grown. She is taller than me by and inch. She is going to be a tall girl. Hope you are having better weather this week...I think everyone is cold in the U.S. Take care and enjoy this week before Christmas. Blessings, love, xoxo, Susie

  4. Well I've never heard cold as a "tin t-shirt" but I have heard other sayings of which I won't remember, but yes it is THAT cold! I got groceries Thursday evening and I think I've been out once since then! Cute Santa pictures. I have my shopping finished, most of my wrapping done, and I'm entertaining Thursday evening and Christmas eve, then I'm relaxing!

    1. Cindy, I was going to say well diggers backside...LOL. I always love Christmas and all the festivities...but it can be exhausting at times. That's why I like to finish up everything and be all set for the big day. This weather is making me nuts. Please be safe and careful. Wishing you and yours a wonderful Christmas and a really happy new year. Blessings, xoxo, Susie

    1. Karen, I am wanting 40 degrees too.that is going to feel like a heat wave to us. I have seen kids crying like crazy on Santa's lap.. think it's kind of mean to make them sit there if they are frightened . Be safe and warm, Blessings, xoxo, Susie

  8. I've been staying in for good reason. Today I got a new battery for my old, reliable car. I have had lots of help during the snow and cold and I am so thankful that I have people to look after me. Your Ted is quite talented! All you have to do is say honey I wish....

    1. Peggy, I believe there's lemon battery out there too. My sister went thru a tough winter with her new battery a couple years ago. My husband says it was because she only drove to the store and never built the charge back up enough. :):) Please be safe up there in the cold. Blessings to you, xoxo, Susie

    1. Missy, I laughed about you saying the pets eat better than you. I think it's good you watch what your dog eats. Some of our grand dogs have had issues. Stay warm this week...the sun did shine today and a bit yesterday....but it's very cold. Be safe outside. Blessings, xoxo, Susie

  13. You better believe I love Santa!
I have been at the mall on the upper level, looking down at Santa having photos made with children. When Santa glanced up to the second story railing, where I was standing, you know I waved to him like he was a rock star! :-) How many adults would do that? Merry Christmas, hope Santa is good to you! xx
