Shop Some, Eat Lots....

Schools are having Spring break in our area.  Daughter  Angie and I went shopping and then to lunch. We shopped Kohl's and it was disappointing ...no purchases for either of us.  We also went to T.J. Maxx. Saw this cute pillow. I did not buy any.
But oh I love note papers and stationary very much. I looked at all of them.
Picked up this little box of notes. I think because going to Paris is my continuing dream .
First day of spring break for Emma. She goes with her mother and father to the cancer clinic, so Liz can take some tests. No results yet. Emma went along on the promise of having lunch at the Cheesecake Factory. After hours at the clinic...to the point that now it is near supper time, they arrive at the eatery. Looks like Oh happy day for Pooh.:):)
Waiting, waiting, waiting..."Mom I am starving."  LOL

Finally a big burger and fries....is this the typical kid lunch?  :):)
Oh at long last the delicious cheesecake. Look at that smile.  Soon Emma will be having her 13th birthday. Our baby granddaughter, the time went by in a flash for me.
Hope all of you are safe , so many storms out there...we are to have some today and plenty of rain . Be safe. XO

  2. Emma sure looks happy with her cheesecake. They have the best cheesecake there and many different flavors. Susie, it is my dream to go to Paris also. These are cute cards that you found. TJ Maxx is one of my favorite shops. I always find something there. It sounds like a lovely day out with Angie.

I didn't know you were still having storms. It rained all last week, sunny this week, but lots of wind. : )

Stay safe and warm with the storm, Susie.

    1. Sheri, I told my kids they will have to take something of mine to Paris and leave it for me...if I never get to go. LOL. I am glad you are having nice days. I am tired of the gray skies and rain. Storms headed our way right now. Tornado warnings and watches. I do not like to get in the basement but will if we have too. I usually ride the exercise bike when down there. LOL. Blessings, love, xoxo, Susie

  6. I was just at Marshall's the other day and I found some great things...and the first time I didn't spend much at all! I stay away from Kohl's. I usually find tons of clothes I like and right now, between seasons, it's not necessary.

That Emma is a beauty. I love Cheesecake Factory, too. Unfortunately I usually have to get a salad if I want to bring a slice of cheesecake home!

    1. Blondie, We do not have a home goods or marshalls near us. I wish we did. :):) You are right about the in between seasons...things looked boring. My daughter said too many tops with exposed shoulders. LOL. Oh I told Liz that Emma would want two cheesecakes after waiting so long to eat. :) My baby granddaughter is soon to be 13....I am telling you sweet Blondie, hug , kiss and squeeze your sweet grands, they will grow up way too soon. Blessings, xoxo, Susie

    1. Viv, I would love to shop a Home Goods. We do not have any near by. I always tell my daughters there's nothing I need so badly as to drive more than 20 miles. LOL I like chocolate cheesecake. I know Emma enjoyed her. Blessings to you and your family, xoxo, Susie

  8. Oh Susie ~ Emma is so cute and her personality sure shines through the photos. I can't believe how fast they turn from toddlers to teenagers. What fun to spend time with them. Funny...I like your pillow, and I bought a new one yesterday. Changing a few things in my living room to lighten it up. Will share pictures soon.

    1. Wanda, I thought my own children grew up too fast...but with the grands it's faster...because my life has wings. I can't wait to see your new things. I keep thinking I may one day do a complete re-do here...but it takes so long to get things like we want...then it's time to do it all over. LOL. I am doing well to keep it all clean anymore. :):) Blessings to all, xoxo, Susie

  9. I certainly wish the best for Liz.
Yes it's raining/snowing as I write this. At least it's not as bad as 10 years ago when we had 27 inches of snow. This has been the crappiest March I can remember. Once again all the best to Liz.
