Emma's Birthday Dinner...

My daughter , Liz, had a birthday dinner for Emma. I know they are celebrating all week. LOL I found a sweetie pie so we could play.
Max is blowing on his hand to make noises....is that a boy thing? :):)
Here's Max with Brock's wife Emily and their daughter Layla.  Emily needs a repair kit for those pants. LOL.
This is Lynzie (Max's mommy). She is smiling even though she was pretty tired. Beautiful girl. Lynzie has less than a month to deliver Luke, our soon to be new great grandson. Emily and Mark (Max's daddy) in back ground.
Layla is getting her blanky...I think the children were all wore out.. I know I was. But it doesn't take much playing and wallowing on the floor for me.
Brock took this shot..nice chair. :):) You can see that Emma is taller .  She had a fun birthday dinner. There was homemade ice cream cake.  Yum.
The warm days of this past weekend have cause the weeping cherry blossoms to bloom . It rained some monsoon rains yesterday.
Isn't this the perfect pink. I just love it.
We are expecting here at the shop. A robin built a nest in the honeysuckle by the shop. The mother squawks like mad when we go in and out the door. Hope they hatch. I love seeing the blue eggs.
I still have some yard work this week. I just hope I can finish it.  I am sowing grass seed in some quirky spots. Wishing all of you a great day. Smile. XO

  3. Wow, I've never seen a Robin's blue eggs close-up before, Susie. They're pretty. The cherry blossoms have come and gone already. They came early and fell to the ground and blew in the wind. Your grandkids are precious, Susie. Wishing you and your family Easter blessings.

    1. Sheri, I love that robin's egg blue color. I will have to keep an eye on the babies,as this nest is near the pond . One year some cardinal babies fell in the pond. I am hoping the blossoms last a few days...well till the crabapple and red-bud bloom. Blessings, xoxo, love, Susie

    1. Wanda, I had the best time with the kids. I remember my brothers making disgusting noises with the hands in the arm pits. Mom used to yell "stop that" once started. It is a beautiful when spring arrives for sure. LOL. Hope you are loving some good weather. Blessings, xoxo, Susie

  11. Aren't these just the best of all times, such happy faces busy celebrating special family occasions! They are more dear to me the older I get.

Lynzie is so beautiful to be so close to delivery and tired. Even I remember those last few weeks of pregnancy, impossible to get much rest, to be comfortable in bed.

Have a happy Easter, Susie, all of you,
    Dewena
