Wisdom Teeth, Nursing, Babies, and Old Friends...

This is Layla and her daddy Brock.  He is playing some music for her, after reading.

Then Brock had his wisdom teeth removed. He's still a bit groggy here, I think.
When Brock got back home Layla had her little scrubs on to nurse her daddy. I was told she put her thermometer on his knee to get his temperature. LOL  How she found her thermometer is beyond me...look at her toys all about. :):)

Here's Luke, he  precious.. Smiling most  of the time.
This is Luke's big brother Max and his life long  ( his almost 2 years)friend Murphy.  They are so funny together.  I wanted to post the photo of them in the tub together. I asked Lynzie if they played so hard they needed bathed. She said , "Oh yes. "
For my blue haired granddaughter Savannah , she had an unexpected visit from the girl who used to live across the street from her.  Piper and her grandmother paid a short visit to the old neighborhood.
They look happy to have seen each other.  Although there were times that Piper made Savannah crazy. LOL.  The age difference you know.  Like a pesky little sibling. LOL  I love it.
Last but not least, diet, what are you talking about....who needs to diet ? LOL.  This is my daughter Kathy's cat..well one of them, as I am always teasing her about being a crazy cat lady...she only needs 94 more. Isn't it 98 cats that qualifies a person to be a crazy cat lady? Although I suspect Kathy may have more than she is telling me about. She showed a picture recently of 4 outside cats ! Thankful  she has a woods and property for them to roam.
Well it's a nice day here in central Indiana..  I have already cleaned up the porch, watered plants and have lunch planned.  I am going outside today. Hope all of you have something fun planned. XO

  2. Susie, those babies are precious and so is Savanna with her old friend. I'm laughing because our little Jack is somewhat of a pest to Brady, our oldest grandson. I always wonder why we have wisdom teeth and why we have to have them pulled. ? That is a fat cat for sure. I have been thinking about getting a cat, but keep holding off. I've never had a cat. And today I found a stray dog. What to do. What to do. 😉It's rainy and humid here.

    1. Nonnie, Cats are a good pet, if you are not allergic. I think little kids like to have the attention of their bigger relatives or friends. Our day was great , did some work and relaxed later. Blessings, xoxo, Susie

  3. Susie, Luke is the sweetest baby. I love seeing pictures of him smiling.....they just make me smile as well. : ) Savannah and her neighbor Piper reminded me of me and my sister - we are 6 years apart and probably bugged her at times too hahaha. Wow, your daughter has lots of cats on her property! Oh, how I wish I had some woods surrounding my home, and I would get a dog for sure. This is such a cute picture of the boys on their red chairs.

Wishing Brock healing with his wisdom teeth. I had mine removed also, no fun.

Have a blessed weekend, dear Susie.

    love, ~Sheri

    1. Sheri, I love to get pictures of Luke and he does seem to always be smiling...and trying to talk. :) Babies can be so entertaining . :):)I laugh when I think back to the day when Piper lived across the street from Savannah..because I would hear Savannah tell her mom, "Piper's driving me crazy ." Speaking of wisdom teeth , even Savannah had her taken out already. I think Karen had it done because of her insurance changes coming up. Thankfully Brock has insurance at his work. Blessings , love you, xoxo, Susie

    1. Diane, I like Savannah's natural color the best. She likes the blues and greens...but I like the pale pink. At least you may never get lice...because of the hair coloring.:) Hope you are enjoying some time outside...not too hot. My day was sweet...even though I did pull weeds. Blessings, xoxo, Susie

    1. Kris, Savannah is loving different hair color every month or so. I like when it just tinged in pink. I will be ready for her to go natural. She also likes Anime...kind of a Japanese style comic stuff. But it deals with art and she loves art...so I can go along with that. This low humidity is heavenly. I do not want to see our power bill after so much AC. :( Blessings to you dear friend. xoxo, Susie

  7. Oh...wisdom teeth can be bad and painful. Hopefully, when he got the 'stuff' out of his system he wasn't in too much pain. Love those little ones.. Aren't they all just so precious?? I could just ((hug)) them all. So nice that Savannah had a old friend visit.. Oh, that kitty is a bit chunky..but so is my Rusty. It was a HOT & HUMID one here today. I did not venture outside (only to water my plant twice!!)

    Blessings to your SONday,
    Gert

    1. Gert, I have three siblings who never had children and I almost feel sorry for them....to not have any grandkids around. Mine are a joy. Oh that cat of Kathy's looks huge. I think it's Venus, she's had a few cats and names them from planets.:):) It's been too hot for me to be out long periods...so I do the watering and sweep the porch everyday. Yesterday I did pull lots of weeds and trim some things. It was a good day. Bless you sweet friend, xoxo, Susie

  9. My sister was a cat lady for a long time. Not sure where they are now...they were ferals. She is married to a police officer now and they have a huge German Shepherd. ;-D

Those kids are so cute. Love the names Savannah and Piper. Sometimes I wish I had had 27 kids so that I could use all the names I loved. Oh, 27 weddings, too. So many ideas now!

    1. Blondie, Three of my four daughters have pets. My Kathy has always loved cats, now her son has a cat where he lives.
When we named our daughters, I named two and their father named two. We named them after other people...but our oldest I named Angelia. Her grandpa used to call her Angel. She said she loved it, it made her feel special..and she is very much. Blessings, xoxo, Susie

    1. Thank you Kathy. I think Layla was taking good care of her daddy...who else would take his temperature on his knee? LOL Savannah had her wisdom teeth out two months ago...Karen chose to have it done because of changes coming up with her insurance. She did very well. I do pray for my grandkids to always be healthy and happy. Blessings to you and Joe, hoping for the best with your car. xoxo, Susie

  11. This is the second blog I've visited about getting teeth pulled. I go to the dentist next week for a crown, all this pulling teeth talk is making me nervous! I love the pics of your family. Those little boys in their little chairs! Adorable!!

    1. Cindy, My tooth sensitivity finally let up once that second root canal on the same molar was done...but I do not chance eating on it too often. I wish you luck with your crown. I go back for my cleaning and x-rays in two weeks. This week, I go to the dermatologist...for my eczema. Always something...at least this is a real dr. I love getting photos of the babies. Just wish I had more time around them. Blessings , xoxo, Susie

  12. I love the family stories you share, Susie. So funny about Savannah and Piper-she was almost like a little sister, I'm sure (and probably just as aggravating).

Hope the wisdom teeth area heals up quickly-that is miserable.

Have a wonderful Sunday. I am trying to catch up on things! xo Diana

    1. Diana, I think that Piper was tormenting like a little sister. But it lifted my heart seeing their photo all smiling. Layla gave her daddy order to stay on the sofa while she and mommy came to the shower. LOL. What a character . Bless you, xoxo, Susie
