Merry Christmas To All....

This is what it look like after the two snow days we got . But the past three days it's been melting.
Ted doesn't shovel snow and I was not suppose to. .. So Ted clear a little path on the porch and I did a path to the mailbox.  This snow will be gone in a couple more days, as the temperatures are going into the high 40's  and low 50's.    The weathergirl said 88 more days till Spring. Hooray.
This is the top of my oldest daughter's tree. Her dad and I bought this angel when Angie was three weeks old. So I have given it to her.  She cherishes it.
Ted is doing  better as the weeks go by. He has a couple appointments this coming week. Then will have maintenance chemo at the end of the month.  It still takes his energy a few weeks to come back after the chemo.
I went to the chiropractor after I took those inflammation meds for 10 days. He popped my spine back into line. Told me to not carry wood , shovel snow , or dance the twist.  Well I won't be doing any of that for awhile. :) Slowly feeling better and the pain has eased enough that one extra strength tylenol takes care of it.  Thanks for all your prayers and kind wishes.  You have helped us so much.
Wishing all of you a Merry Christmas.  A blessed New Year of good health and happiness. XO

  1. Praise God you are feeling better! What an extraordinary journey you have been on this year. I’m so glad you are in this moment and not back at the beginning. You have been stronger than you ever dreamed you could be and I know God is so proud of you. Praying 2020 is going to be a year of health and happiness for you and Ted. Life will never be the same after all you’ve been through....it will be deeper and more precious than ever. Louis Dean and I love you and Ted like family.....someday we may take a road trip just to visit with y’all. We are thinking about buying a new car in the next few years. I’m smiling as I write because I can already imagine all the fun we will have. Instead of traveling to see things....we are thinking of traveling to see FRIENDS! Merry Christmas!

    1. Thank you Linda. I have been blessed with friends and family, prayers and good wishes. There were times this past year where I did not know if I could go another day. We still have about 4 more chemo treatments, God willing no unexpected things happen. I have thanked our Lord for my back finally easing up. Wow, that was a rough stretch. You will laugh, but I told Ted two days ago...we need to get well and go to Texas some time next year. :) Thank you for the prayers and kind words you have sent for us. Blessings and Merry Christmas, love you both so much, xoxo, Susie

  11. Hi Susie,
Glad to hear your back is doing so much better. I am happy we are having the mild temps too. We did not get the snow you guys got but we are going to have the warm days. Maybe 58 on Christmas Day. It will feel more like Easter weather. I am ok with these mild temps because as you know it can change on a dime and we still have Jan. through April to go. Have a beautiful Christmas.
    Hugs,
    Kris

  18. So thankful that you are feeling better. I know the pain of carrying wood daily as that is what we heat with and it is getting harder daily. I hope we can do a pellet stove next year. I need my Pink Zebra fragrances to improve in sales so that I can purchase it.
I just found your card that I thought I placed in the mail, so I am just going to wish you a very Merry Christmas here! Hope Ted continues to rise above his illness and heal!!

    1. Thank you so much Carol. I told Ted we need to move back to town...where live isn't so pioneer like. Less property to care for. I just would love to have gas logs for a fire. LOL. We use LP and the fireplace. I just am not a big fan...too dusty and too much work. Thank you for the good wishes. Ted is getting better, but the maintenance chemo will make him weak. Blessings for a beautiful Christmas . xoxo, Susie

Tell her many are praying for her. Merry Christmas to all your family. We are just sitting around today we will gather tomorrow. This let's those with little ones enjoy their day in their own homes. It looks like it lights up. I'm glad Ted is doing better, and that your back and spine feels better too. Be careful not to lift anything heavy right now or shovel snow.
