I am hoping we are back on line. I just made a post and had to delete it. The neighbor man called and ask who I was. I said my name and he said I think the phone boys mixed our lines together. Oh great. I am not having those men back here. They can do their work outside.
In the mean time,. I am praying for all of you. Ted and I are well so far. He will be getting more maintenance chemo next week. Stay strong and safe. Always be smart. XO
Ooh dear Susie, your post has made my day when I saw it pop up in my blogroll.
ReplyDeleteSo happy to read all is well, and sending continued prayers and best wishes to you and Ted.
Hugs to you both,
~Jo
Oh Jo, I am thrilled to be back on line. The phone men sent anew crew out and just left 30 minutes ago. Yikes, all day more or less. Thanks for all the prayers and well wishes. Take care and stay safe. Bless you, xoxo, Susie
DeleteWell thanks for giving a holler while you could! I hope that "the phone boys" get it right this time. Maybe your neighbor can issue the complaint. ☺ So glad that all is well so far. I am also glad that Ted is able to get his treatments. Good news.
ReplyDeleteOngoing prayers for health, healing, and happiness. Your yard looks tranquil and pretty.
Hi Vee, Thank you for the card you sent me. The phonys just left , the neighbors called them back The boy wanted to come in and I said no. I said the trouble is outside not in my house. If I had the neighbor's line and the phone/internet worked then the logic is "it's the outside line" Gaa, I almost had to draw the kid a map. What is the kicker, I gave those two boys a tip for doing their job and it not be right. Bless your Vee, I keep you in my prayers, and hope all is well there. Please stray safe. Bless you, xoxo, Susie
DeleteOh I'm so glad to see you online again! I hope things are straightened out soon and want you to know you stay in my prayers! My husband and I pray for you both! We are fine! Sweet hugs, Diane
ReplyDeleteHi Diane, I have thought of you out hiking. I hope you still could. Thank you so much for the prayers. They have brought us thru a tough long time. Everyone's kindness is so appreciated . I have missed all of you. Blessings to you and your sweet husband, stay safe please, xoxo, Susie
DeleteIt's good to see you back, Susie! And know that you're doing well, even with tech problems. Best to you and your wonderful Ted and your picture is so pretty!

DeleteThankful for this update, dear Susie. God bless you both. Sending love and prayers. Mildred
ReplyDeleteOh Mildred, I have missed you. Hope all is will there for you and yours. Such a scary time in our lives. Ted has reached his year marker on his bone marrow transplant and that is a great sign. His got his Who's who report and his marrow is 98.3 % donor marrow now. That is good. They would love 100 but anything in the high 90's is wonderful . Blessings stay safe, love, xoxo, Susie
DeleteIt's so nice to see a post from you, Susie! I'm so glad you are both well. Hang in there, and I hope you have nice weather to enjoy this weekend. -Jenn
ReplyDeleteHi Jenn, The sun came out today and boy have I been needing some brightness. Those phone boys had my spirits lifted for a bit. They had to come back and were here till about 7:30. My gosh.I do not have to pay them since it was outside. Blessings to you and your family, hoping all are well. xoxo, Susie
DeleteGood to see you and still thinking of Ted in our prayers. I hope there is no mix-up on phone lines, if so hope it is FIXED!
ReplyDeleteSherry & jack
Gosh can you believe those two young men hook the neighbor's line to our box and took a tip from me and went their way. Then the neighbor calls them back, they were here till 7:30. Took an older man from the company to help. Let's hear it for the old guys. :) Blessings to you both and thanks for all the sweet prayers. xoxo, Susie
DeleteLovely to see you posting again and thank you for the update. Hope the phone lines get straightened out. Continued prayers for good health for you and Ted. Take care.
ReplyDeleteThank you Bless. I do now have my own internet. LOL. Those phone boys, hope I do not have to see them again. :) I believe in second chances but oh boy I am tired. Blessings, stay safe , xoxo, Susie
DeleteI was just thinking of you today and then you pop up on here. So glad to hear things are going well for you -- except for the tech stuff. Hope that gets figured out quickly. Still praying for you and Ted.
ReplyDeleteThank you Kathy, I have thought of you and Joe many times. I have truly missed my blog family. It is bad enough I can't hug my own family, then so long without word of all of you our there. It was sad. Thank you for every prayer. Bless you both , stay safe , xoxo, Susie

ReplyDeleteThank you Jan. Ted and I are so grateful for the prayers. I will do a big long catch up blog soon. Since the phone crew left ere at 7:30...wow an almost all day repair jib...really? LOL.Stay safe there. Bless you , xoxo, Susie
DeleteMy eyes popped wide open and a smile stretched across my face when I saw SHE JUNKS!!!! YES!!!! We have so missed you!!! Love you, Susie Q! Ted, too!
ReplyDeleteThank you Linda and LD. I have prayed for all of you and thanks for your good prayers too. There 's been some mighty stressful days here. IT's not all over ...but now things seem better. Ted got chemo set up fro next week. His Who's who is 98.3 % , which is very good. 100 % would awesome indeed, but by golly 98.3 is looking fine. Ted reached his one year mark May 1st. The drs. say that means his chances are greater . Can't begin to tell you that this sitting inside is making us both nuts. Today the sun did shine, hooray. We have tried to do bits of yard work here and there. The pond is going and cleaned out. The bird feeders are getting fixed and put out. Praying Summer is doing great. Blessings to all of you, please keep safe , xox, love Susie
DeleteHappy to see you! Prayers continue for you and Ted! HUGS!
ReplyDeleteHi Theresa, Thank you so much for the prayers. I have kept praying for your sister and brother, hope they are doing better. Ted got his chemo appts set for next week. His year since the transplant was May 1st, the drs say that means his chances are greater at living. Blessings to you and yours, stay safe, xoxo, Susie

Hope all goes well with Ted's chemo next week. Stay safe and well.

Oh Kris, Every time Chicago was mention on TV I thought of you. Hope you have flowers growing. We had lots of frost till about the middle of the month. Ted reached his year mark on his bone marrow transplant May 1st. He is also 98.3 donor in his marrow. All good things. Hope you and your family are all well. I missed all of you too. Blessings, xoxo, Susie
DeleteYAY!!--so glad to finally see you!! Hugs!!
ReplyDeleteDebbi, I am so glad to be back. Ted and I were already distancing before the virus. So not internet was like prison. LOL
DeleteHope all is well with you and yours, Bless you, xoxo, Susie
How frustrating with the phones. Last thing anyone needs. Best wishes to Ted for the chemo round. And stay well, my friend.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much Jeanie. I was so ready to pull all my hair out yesterday. Just when I thought I had the internet back...then those phone fellows have to return and fix my neighbors line back and make ours right. If it had been maybe any other time, I could have found humor in the young men....oh well I do believe in second chances. Blessings to you and your Rick, stay safe. xoxo, Susie
DeleteSo good to see you are back on line. Crazy that your line got crossed with the neighbors/ Take care and be safe and have a Happy Memorial Day
ReplyDeleteThank you so much. I am feeling hopeful today. Those phone men left here last night at 7:30. LOL Hope I don't have to see them for a long time if ever. Blessings, xoxo, Susie
DeleteFirst thing I thought when I saw your post...."Oh yay...you are back" Sorry you had to go through the frustrations of getting internet back. But at least you are BACK!!! Glad to hear Ted is doing good, great news. Your pond looks great, had mine going yesterday while I gardened a little. So much more to do...the bones are aching today. Prayers for both of you.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much Louise. I am so grateful for your prayers and the cards. I sure hope things are better for you and your husband. Life can be so hard, that we wonder when will we be able to relax. Today, I opened the windows and aired out our house. Oh it was so very nice to smell that fresh air. take care there and hopefully we can be around our loved ones. Blessings, xoxo, Susie
DeleteHello Susie, it's so good to see you here this morning. I'm glad you and Ted are doing Ok. I don't blame you for not wanting the phone boys back again. The stove repair man had to come fix the stove that kept popping, and I stayed outside the whole time he was here.
ReplyDeleteStay safe and well, my dear friend.
~Sheri
Hi Sheri. So good to be back with my blog family, I truly missed everyone. Today was a good day. Ted ut his mask on and mowed, I dug around in the flowerbeds. Digging out weeds , not planting anything. I open our windows and aired our house out. Oh my gosh it was wonderful. The smell of fresh air. I have prayed for you and yours . I prayed for all of us to be safe and wise. It's still too scary for many. Take care young lady. Blessings to you and your family, xoxo, love, Susie
DeleteYeah! How nice to have you back. All the crazy things that can happen...telephone wires mixed..Oh Dear. Glad you and Ted are well. You were sorely missed. Welcome back. Love and Hugs.

I have seen my own sisters and daughters here and there, but no hugs or close times ...so sad. Humans were not meant to be alone. I am praying for everyone of us, the whole world. DeleteDear Susie, I saw your post on Karen's page and my heart just leapt right out of my chest. You made my day. So glad to see you back posting. Hugs and love, and of course, prayers!
ReplyDeleteThank you Carol. I am so thankful for my blog family. I miss all of you. Funny how we become attached to one another. We truly care . I miss my girls and their families. In the past 5 months, we have not had any hugs. Ted and were distancing for his health , it was cold season, so we just stayed away from the children. Never dreamed it would be this long. His counts are up, but then he has chemo next week. That drains his strength. Plus his counts will lower and we go back to being careful of everything. Blessings to you sweet friend, stay safe. xoxo, Susie.
ReplyDeleteSO great to see you back, Susie! This has been a long haul for you two with this virus coming up! Praying for you!
ReplyDeleteThank you Linda. I am grateful for the kindness of everyone praying for us and those that sent cards to me too. I did think of you today....it being nice enough to be at the lake. I did a big workout in the yard here, Still trying to catch up on two years worth of work. Yikes, I am too old. Even my finger hurts. LOL. Blessings to you and your family, keep safe, xoxo, Susie

ReplyDeleteThank you for those prayers. They mean so much. The heat has really slowed Ted down. We tried to a wee bit of things, very early, but it just didn't happen. Stay safe Woody. We can hug our kids when it's safe again, I am praying that is soon. Blessings to you and yours, xoxo, Susie
DeleteHello Friend,
ReplyDeleteStay well and sending prayers.
Love, Carla
Hi Carla, Thank you for the card you sent me. It was very nice of Diana to let others know I had no internet. I am thrilled to be back, even thought I still can not load my phones. Grrr. But I can at least keep up with my blog family. Blessings to you sweet girl, xoxo, love, Susie
DeleteWoohoo, glad to see your post. Someone needs to sort those fellas out...ha! You and Ted are in my daily prayers. Hugs from Indianapolis. xoxo
ReplyDeleteThank you so much Donna. Prayers have truly helped us get this far. Ted does his maintenance chemo this week. He gets receive it in Noblesville, so we do not have to drive all the way to Stop 11 & Emerson. Hope you are well and staying safe. Blessings, xoxo, Susie
DeleteI'm glad to see you're back online, and to hear that you and Ted are doing okay! Hopefully they get your phone lines figured out! Your garden area looks quite lovely and relaxing! Many blessings to you!
ReplyDeleteThank you Marilyn. It took those fellows most of the day. But when the older fellow came it go corrected. It's difficult letting anyone into our home in these times. That is why it truly took from March to now, I just didn't call till Friday, while Ted was at his cancer drs. But he got home before the first crew had finished. Sent Ted to his room when I had to let one man in to check the modem and clean up after he went back outside. Just glad it done. LOL Take care where you are, we are doing the same. Blessings, xoxo, Susie
DeleteGlad to see you back dear Susie! So glad to hear things are well with you both. Many prayers have gone forward for you both. Hugs and blessings, Cindy
ReplyDeleteThank you Cindy, We do need and appreciate the prayers. Trying to stay well and upbeat. It's not always easy to be in good spirits. Blessings to you and yours, stay safe, xoxo, Susie
DeleteI'm so glad you are back, Susie. That is kind of funny about mixing you up with your neighbor, but it is not, right? We have ATT&T and it sounds like something they would do. My computer keeps going off and I am just babying it because I don't want anyone to have to come to the house. Glad you and hubby are staying well. It is so scary with so much opening up now. They are not doing a great job about any of it around here!..Stay well..xxoJudy
ReplyDeleteIt was great to get internet back. When the first crew came, one young man came inside to check lines and the phones. I only let him check the office and living room. Once he left, I had to wipe so many things down again. I have covered much with tablecloths and throw..easier to wash, than wipe stuff. I spray Lysol in the rooms. So when the young fellow said the second time around he needed to come in, I said No. It's in the lines outside. If they gave me the neighbor's line and everything worked, Then they put my old line on and still no internet...duh well figure it out kid. Is what I thought to myself. But told him it truly had to be outside. And guess what, it was. LOL An all day comedy in a way. Stay safe and healthy there. Blessings to you and the Captain. xoxo, Susie
DeleteSo nice to see you back, Susie and to hear that you are well. Hope you get your wires uncrossed. xo Laura
ReplyDeleteHi Laura, Isn't it totally amazing how some people ever get the jobs done....right. Later the day the phone men came out, an older employee of the company had to come show them the right way.:):) I have the internet back but am still without my picture or a way to load them on the computer. Have to wait a bit longer for tech help and it's not going to be that Geeks squad out of Kokomo.Yikes. Hope you are having good enough weather to be out in your area for walks. Blessings Laura, stay safe.xoxo, Susie
