He truly always seemed to be really interested in the show. Hope he was absorbing knowledge.
Here's Max and me. Max has a birthday this week. He is about two days old here. It's been 5 years ago. Oh where did that time go? It was hard enough to get to be with him before the Covid , not it is impossible. I am missing him, his family and baby brother Luke. When we are allowed, I am going to be hugging those kids so much, they will be tired of me.
We are doing okay here, since Ted has been home. He is doing his breathing treatments to help himself get over the pneumonia. He seems to nap more. Hope all of you are well and please stay that way. XO
It is so good to see YOU! Max is adorable! Yes, I haven't been able to hug our grands since maybe March, boo hoo...
ReplyDeleteGinny, It is painful to long to hug our families and not be able to. I miss playing on the floor with them. Praying God will show us all his loving mercy. Blessings, xoxo, Susie
DeletePrecious memory photos and it must be so hard to not be able to squeeze the stuffings out of those kiddos.
ReplyDeleteHugs to all of you.
Sue

Love your pictures of Max. He was so cute! I know it’s so hard not to be with them. I believe we all miss ((hugs)). Those little ones won’t know what hit them when we can hug them again😀 It’s good Ted is resting, that is just one part of his healing process. Glad to hear your eye surgery went well.
ReplyDeleteStay well and strong,
Gert
Gert, You are a grandmother , so you know how we need those tiny hugs so much. Thank you for always being in our corner. Blessings to you sweet friend, xoxo, love, Susie
DeleteWhat aa cutie, Max is! Love seeing him enjoy the game show...yes, soak up that knowledge. Glad Ted is doing OK. My dearest is sleeping more in his recliner. We have slow days, and good days. But God is good every day. Sending love and hugs.
ReplyDeleteThank you Wanda, wish we were neighbors. Ted has wore his recliner out ...I need to call the store in town and have them bring out a new one. One day, Max would like to be an astronaut. he love all things about space. So maybe the Jeopardy shows did work. :) Blessings to you and Don, stay safe. xoxo, love Susie

ReplyDeleteThank you Theresa. Ted is doing better. The inhaler makes his voice rasping. Our Max, where did those 5 years go. It seems I have only snuggled him a dozen times. That's not near enough. Blessings, xoxo, Susie
DeleteMax is such a cutie. Time just flies by, doesn't it? I hope with this new vaccine that you will be able to hug all your kids soon.
ReplyDeleteThank you sweet Kathy!! that is exactly what I want to do. I am going to hug everyone. I may walk down the street and hug strangers. LOL Then I would have to hug the jailer. LOL Blessings to you and Joe, xoxo, Susie

ReplyDeleteHow sweet!! We have a 5 yr old here too and I cannot believe how fast those 5 yrs have gone.
ReplyDeleteI'm right there with you in missing my family. I see them...well did before this last crazy Covid kick, but have not touched or hugged any of them (except the ones I live with) since March. My heart aches but I know and firmly believe that this too WILL pass! And they all better be ready for Mama/Nana hugs just as soon as I can give them!
Take care, my friend ♥
Thank you Doris. Oh I know you and many others feel the way I do about our little ones. We want to squeeze them. I wish I lived with some of our family at times. LOL Blessings to you and yours, stay safe. xoxo, Susie
DeleteI totally know what you mean about missing the kids...both those that are grown and those that are not. Susie, I'm glad to hear Ted is doing well...sleep is a wonderful medicine. Stay healthy..:)jp

ReplyDeleteThank you Lon. I will be visiting soon. I just check in here every now and then. Blessings to you and yours, xoxo, Susie
DeletePrecious boy! It's amazing how fast they grow up. Glad Ted's pneumonia is getting beaten back. I have lung issues, too, and keep elecampane tincture around for when I get flair-ups. It's a wonderful lung tonic and has the side benefit of actually killing MRSA. Amazing stuff. Blessings to you and your Teddy Bear!
ReplyDeleteThank you Kim. That sounds like a good medicine to keep around. I am not sure where Ted is going to end up. Our family dr wants him to see the lung dr who comes to our area. So probably soon. Our sweet Max is 5 and I have not seen much of him since he was 3.. breaks my heart. Stay safe and healthy. Blessings, xoxo, Susie
DeleteI remember when Max was born..HAppy Birthday to him..I hope Ted recovers fully from his pneumonia soon...Enjoy your weekend..
ReplyDeleteThank you so much Missy. My problem is not having been around my grands and the great grands for over two years now. I remember the Christmas dinner with them in 2018..but Ted had to distance and wear a mask. Long before Covid. Missy, I pray he recovers from all this. Enjoy your weekend too. I just walked around outside...it's chilly but pretty. Blessings, xoxo, Susie
DeleteIt takes awhile to recover energy after pneumonia. He's doing all the right things. Max is darling and I know you must miss him so.
ReplyDeleteJeanie, My granddaughter sent us a video of Max. He looks taller. Oh that hurts. I want to be around them so badly. But we are staying away from everyone for now. We need hugs, don't we? Ted has just about slept all day. Now the man sleeps 10 to 12 hrs a night...as much I get in 3 days. LOL I hope sleep does the trick. Hope you are doing well and getting to enjoy some things. Today, I walked outside to say my prayers. It was sunny and pretty. Oh cold too. :) Blessings, xoxo, Susie
DeleteOh my, that photo of baby Max watching Jeopardy! Love it! There will be a special name for hugs after Covid 19! Love to you and your Teddy bear!
ReplyDeleteThank you Kay. You are so kind. Yes we are going to remember to hug everyone after the virus has been controlled. I am hoping you will get to visit England again once we are free to live our lives once more. Blessings to you sweet girl, xoxo, Susie
