The Snows Did Melt....

We had pretty sunset ,even in winter.
Plenty of snow drifts, hard to get around. But who goes anywhere , any more.
I was pretty tired of all this snow and the woes that come with it. The freezing temperatures was the worse part.  But three days of 40 -50 degree days has helped melt it . It is almost all gone. I say "hooray"

The latest  on my Ted...he is in a holding pattern at the very room where he received his bone marrow transplant, at the Franciscan hospital., on May 2019,  He went to see the IBMT drs yesterday. He was to see them on the 5th, but was in IU Heath  at that time. Then on the 16th , the big snow storm came and so yesterday was the new appointment . Once they took his blood labs and saw how low his counts were they kept him. He had a plasma transfusion . This morning they did the bone biopsy on him.  Praying for some kind of answers . Spoke with him this afternoon and he seemed stronger  than he has in 2 months.  Faith is keeping me hoping for help in getting Ted back on his feet. I am asking for your prayers dear friends. Thank you for wishes of good health and prayers.  XO

    1. Thank you Sherry. I so appreciate your kind words and prayers. I did get to talk on the phone with Ted. He had another blood unit, his counts are still low. I am not sure if they plan on keeping him. I think they should till his counts start to rise. I also believe he should have blood labs every week, while he is trying to get back his strength. Oh I do miss him. We are used to being together everyday. Glad you had some snow for you to enjoy. We had some really warm days this week and our snow is about all gone. I am tired of shoveling so that's good. LOL. Blessings to you and your family my sweet friend. xoxo, love, Susie

  9. Praying for Ted and you! This has been a long rocky road for you both. I am happy to hear Ted is exactly where he needs to be right now. Y'all must be very weary. "Weeping may endure for a night but JOY cometh in the morning." Praying scripture for you and Ted this morning. One day you will look back on these times and marvel at your strength.....because you both have been strong.

    1. Jeanie, This has been a tough time. It's mostly not knowing what is happening with Ted's health. The covid and hard winter weeks sure doesn't help. But we had sun this week and the snow is melting....and I feel that Ted is where the drs care about him. I have to keep my faith big and strong too. Thank you for the prayers. Blessings to you and Rick, hope all is well. xoxo, Susie
