We toured the main house, grounds and gardens, at Mount Vernon. When we were leaving, I saw a man painting the chain fence....so I asked if I could help. I just wanted my daughters to see I am always working :):) What fun. Now I can say I have worked at Mount Vernon.
Now that is funny, did you get any white spots on that navy blue...ha...I would have no matter how careful I was!!!
ReplyDeleteGood thing you beat the snows, that sure was freaky! The chickens are all doing great, but would love more free range time, I just don't have the time to babysit them...take care friend!!!

I visited there once when we were vacationing. I took a great tour and was totally amazed at how brilliant Washington was in everything he put his hand to.
