Bean stew and corn muffins, make a quick lunch. Then it's hours of crafting. We made 9 felt cardinals, colored a dolly , flowerpot, read stories, and drew pictures. Tomorrow we take Emma home, I always miss her as we drive away.
Hi Susie! You had me at corn bread! I love, love corn bread. Is Emma your granddaughter? She's lovely. How wonderful that you two can spend hours creating together!
Isn't that crafting time with granddaughters fun? I love it, but then I need lots and lots of sleep when she goes home. A six year old can craft me under the table!!
Susie, it looks yummy! Love that corn bread. What a beautiful kid-ling ... bet you had a grand time together.
ReplyDeleteThank you for your wonderful friendship. I so look forward to a lengthy continuation ...
Happy New Year, sweet friend ~
