This is the house I lived in , when we lived in town. It's were I raised my daughters. It is 2 blocks from my mother's house. It was my home. I miss living there. This picture of it, makes the house seem so small. It has 3 bedrooms, utility room, living , dining, kitchen ,one and a half baths.. I miss the bathroom too. It's the biggest ever. :):)
I hear we aren't supposed to get too attached to material things, but sometimes we just do!! :) Lovely home!!

Did you knock on the door to see if you could take a look?
ReplyDeleteI love where I live now and that is the reason we have decided to dwell here and not go to a condo or a home in Florida... i do not want to have that feeling... i want to stay content and be happy where I am... You can ony be one place at one time and for me it is right Here... The home your have in the picture seems to be very charming and oh so inviting unlike all the large new home.. This one seems to have personality....
ReplyDeleteSome times I miss our farmhouse. It was built in 1848. We had to move due to my husband's job. Good things happened because of the move though. So I am grateful for the time we lived at the farmhouse, and happy for the time spent at the little farm where my girls grew up.
ReplyDeleteGod sees the whole picture. He knew why we needed to leave the farmhouse, and move to the small farm. We see "why" now. I am waiting to see what He has in store for us here at the lakehouse.

Susie, it is charming. No, I don't look back on any of our homes in missing ... but I'd sure miss this home we are in.
ReplyDeleteHave a great week.

What a sweet house with wonderful memories attached. I have a couple of houses that I miss that we lived in over the years. I save them in my mind's eye...xo Diana
ReplyDeleteHi Susie, this house looks so quaint and charming. I can see why you miss it. Being a military wife we have had LOTS of houses. I would love to go back through each and every one. Memories galore!
ReplyDeleteYou made me miss the house, too. Although I was just telling someone yesterday that I don't know how 5 of us women survived with only the 1.5 bathrooms!
