My Boy Brock......
I call Brock, brockster, brockmiester....but I am most proud to call him my grandson. He is the tallest boy in the back.I send each child money for holidays, not much mind you, but some. I did gave him extra for Valentine's, because he's going on a ski trip with the F.F.A., at his school. He's 16. He gave me a handwritten thank you note yesterday, when we took his sister Emma home. Thanking me for the words in the card and the money. Saying he'd had a bad day at school on Friday, came home to a card from me, that truly lifted his spirits. Thanked me for the love and strength that I have given him. (his words). I know that God has blessed me.:):)

Brock is a very handsome boy, Susie! You are a very blessed grandmother to have ten grandchildren!
ReplyDeleteMy two grandsons are very young and I usually send them something small for each holiday but this year I sent some money and told their parents to treat them to a fun day out form Nonna and Nonno.
Hope you have a very Happy valentine's Day!
Hi Susie- I think one of the best parts of being a grandparent is when THEY realize HOW MUCH YOU love THEM! He is a good kid- xo Diana
ReplyDeleteThat would be the very best gift any mother could ask for-wonderful. I am following you now:)
ReplyDeleteBrockster is a very cute young guy and obviously very appreciative of things done for him - what a great quality for anyone. I understand why you're proud of him!
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet guy! I hope he has a wonderful time on the ski trip. Happy Valentine's Day wishes.
ReplyDeleteHe sounds like a true gift from God. How sweet, having all sons I adore the sweet stories about fine young men.

ReplyDeleteSomeone is raising that boy right. To have a thank you not, handwritten, and not an e-mail or a text. Wonderful!
