New Birds & Snow....

I went into town yesterday. Had to pick up some toiletries.  So....a quick little trip to Horton's. They are setting up for spring displays. I just happened upon these little white birds.
Spent two dollars each and brought them home with me. Now they are a small centerpiece. I really should have slipped some flowers or greenery into this pitcher. I'll look around for something cute.
Well it did snow after freezing the rain. Must have rained  and snowed together as everything is all crunchy and can not be shoveled or swept at this  time. It's not much snow at all but it is slick. So I am not going anywhere today.
Thanks for the kind words on yesterday's post. I am so glad I have a big blog family that are kind to one another .   Hope all of you are safe and warm. XO

    1. Thank you Kathy. I just came in from standing on the porch and saying some prayers. I love to be outside to pray whenever I can.. Ooo baby it's cold out there...the wind is fierce. Still some snow too. But the clouds opened and the sun peeped thru for a minute or two. I love when that happens. Blessings, xoxo,Susie

    1. Vee, I always pray for people who have to get out in nasty weather and get to work. My sister and I did over 30 years of that. Some times pretty rough. Hope you are well and warm, where you are. Blessings, xoxo,Susie

  12. I love your pretty finds from Horton's! I think we sent the snow and ice your way, I hear our area in Michigan got hit hard. We missed the snow here in Chicago but we now have temps or a temp of 1 degree right now! Ugh.

    Stay warm, Susie!

    1. Blondie, This was not a huge snow but it is so frozen on everything. I sure hope we can see some sunshine this week...that will help melt it. I too saw where Michigan was really getting the snow. Today is almost bitter with the wind chills. I guess it's winter now for sure. LOL...we have been very lucky. It's less than 70 days till spring. Yippee. Blessings sweet friend, xoxo,Susie
